Soarin' Wait times?

I switched a FEA FP for Soarin' in the afternoon. I'm thinking that was a mistake. How are the wait times for Soarin' these days? How about early/ at rope drop? On our first day, which is a Monday, Oct. 23, we will be dropping by Epcot in the afternoon. What kind of Soarin' wait times are typical?

Honestly that was a mistake. Soaring lines are rarely over 60 minutes now. Frozen and test track always break or in test tracks case goes down for weather.

We have been here for 12 days, heading home today. Wait times for Soarin have been less than 60 min all times of the day. If you head straight there you should pretty much walk on. I would definitely use the fastpasses for FEA or Test Track.

When we were there in June, FEA was often only a 20-30 min wait for the first couple of hours after park opening. You could try to ride then. I also had great luck getting both Soarin and FEA as 4th and 5th FP's on both days we were there. Just refresh the app until one pops up.
We rode Soarin three times one day.

We were there mid-late August. FEA always had long waits, even at closing. We waited 45 minutes for it near close one night when Soarin was a walk on same time another night.

We got to Epcot before rope drop but not very early. Our first stop was Test Track which was essentially a walk on. Then a leisurely stroll to The Land. Soarin' was about a 15 minute wait. When we finished the posted wait was 60 minutes.

We were there the third week in August for 10 days. We didn't see Soarin' over 60 min either. FEA had 80-90 min waits most times. I was able to get day of FEA 4th fastpasses, but only at night which worked because we were eating dinner in Japan. I didn't make any Soarin' fastpasses before our trip and was able to fastpass it 3 times as a 4th or 5th fastpass at a time close to when I was searching. I also got day off Test Track fastpasses as well. It was actually right after Soarin. Soarin' was my 6th fastpass and Test Track was my 7th.

How are the FEA wait times during evening magic hours? We will be doing one of those at Epcot.

We've been here since 8/23 and the lines for Soarin have been low. Yesterday morning the line was 15 minutes until 10am. We went back for food and wine and it was 15 minutes from 6-9.

Long. We were there one emh and waited just because. I think it was a 45 min wait. I never want in lines that long lol

I'm not sure I will go to Soarin' until they fix the distortion issues.

We walked onto Soarin' at around 530 pm on 8/31. The second time rode, the entire glider to our left was empty. Our group of six were the only people in our row. If you do theater B in the middle, the distortion issues disappear. We didn't have any trouble asking for it. I didn't see waits of more than 40 minutes the entire day on 8/31. Getting Soarin' as a 4th or 5th FP in the late afternoon/evening was very easy on both 8/25 and 8/31.

I'm not sure I will go to Soarin' until they fix the distortion issues.

Not sure how they'll fix it, but it is very disappointing to have a side seat and get the distortion. At least we got one ride in the middle. Side really ruins the ride.
