Soarin/TT during Illuminations?

Are these rides slower during fireworks, or does that really not effect lines in FW at all?

Lines may be a little less, probably more-so at Soarin than Test Track. Test Track just always has a long wait cause it always breaks down.

ffm, whatever you end up doing, if you have never done Soarin, (or Soarin Over California in Anaheim) make sure you DO NOT MISS IT.

You probably already have had the pleasure before, but on the off chance you haven't, it is one of the top 5 must do's at WDW.

Hmm, I feel like becaues the park technically closes at the same time that Illuminations starts, if you're not already online, I'm not sure you can still get on. I could be wrong, but that was just my initial thought.

I was thinking around that time... maybe not necessarily at the exact moment. Just wondered if the area cleared out? Also thinking about on an EMH night....

In my experience (and you KNOW I'm a summer goer!) it's always crowded around TT and Soarin' unless it's first thing in the morning. Even EMH nights I've found really busy in the summer.

Very little of Future World closes at 7 - TT, Soarin, and more stay open til 9.

Disney states on-line, on times guides, on signs at Epcot, etc. that Epcot's Future World "closes at 7:00pm"

But, in true fact-

FW does not fully "close" at 7:00pm on any night of the year.

The following attractions stay open until IllumiNations begins every night:

Spaceship Earth
Mission: Space
Test Track
Soarin'
The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion

Tthe only pavilions that actually shut down at 7pm are Ellen's Energy Adv., Imagination, and Innoventions.
Far more attractions are open than are closed.

And, on EMH nights, they (and maybe, a couple more) stay open until the end of PM EMH along with certain WS attractions.

Last year we rode TT while Illuminations was going on and when the car exited the building onto the high speed track, there were fireworks going off before us. Pretty cool!

I have been on soaring during illuminations and the wait was exactly the same.

Last trip standy by for Soarin was only 20 min. during Illuminations...60 min. every other time we checked throughout the day, so yes, it worked for us to go during the fireworks!

I was just going to say that Test Track is a different experience in the dark and is worth doing; the fireworks is a bonus.
