Soarin' over EPCOT

Yes,but it' soooo much better then BW or ST. you feel like you're really soaring.

What exactly is the Soarin of California ride that everyone is talking about

I have not ridden Soarin over CA so I really can't say, but these VR rides wore out on me so fast. To me they are just plain old boring. Last Time I did Star Tours was probably 10 years ago, I am just not into those types of rides anymore.

When Epcot had its Millenium celebration I did the Jerusalem VR ride and I was bored the entire time.

I really wish Disney would add the lie down rollercoaster they have been talking about forever to a park (but I do not want them to replace anything to have it!)

Soarin' Over California is totally unlike every other VR or simulator ride you've ever been on. It cannot be compared to them because it is not trying to simulate a roller coaster! ALL other simulators ARE trying to simulate a roller coaster type ride within a simulated universe.
Soarin' does something entirely different: it simulates those wonderful dreams you've had where you fly gracefully around. Soarin' makes every very happy: everyone has a big smile at the end. No one tires of riding it! It always has huge lines!
The fact that it's coming to Epcot is great ... just wait.

I will have to give it a try I guess if it does come to epoct, just as long as they don't replace anything to put it in. Well maybe except the Living Seas

I say forget all about Soarin, just clone "Stormrider" from TDS and have it in EPCOT. Great action/simulator ride, change the theme to local hurricanes and make it as an adventure to stop an approaching F5 tornado threatening WDW!

Stormrider is a terrific ride. I haven't been on Soarin.
