Soarin and then Frozen at opening?

Is it possible to ride Soarin' (after PPO Garden Grill) and get to FEA to ride at park open? Or will FEA have a big wait at that time?
I have a group of us that want Test track as their FP (which I got for 2:20, the earliest available). My daughter wants FEA. Should I just change her FP to FEA?

1. Yes. (But, the first Soarin' ride won't necessarily be "over" by park opening time.)
2. More or less, yes.
3. It would likely be more "safe" to leave breakfast and head to FEA first, THEN head to Soarin'.
Soaring' is not nearly as popular as it once was, and now they run THREE theaters when the crowd starts to build.

Interesting. That is another option I didn’t think about.

If you get to GG early enough, you're easily done before park opening. If you're lucky like we were in 2016, Soarin' was opened early and we got to ride multiple times before the crowd showed up. If you only rode it once and then made a break for FEA, that might work, too.
GL! Enjoy the food at GG, my husband's favorite breakfast!

How old is your daughter? Would she ride FEA all by herself and what would she do while the rest of you ride TT?

I think from now until you go, I'd keep an eye on the wait times for FEA around the 9:00-9:30 time frame and see what it's like and when the lull after the first rush happens. If you don't want to do the backtrack of FEA then Soarin', you might be able to do a couple rides on Soarin' and then head to FEA and catch the lull. You may also find that the wait isn't that bad and just head there after one ride on Soarin'.

I would definitely do FEA first and then Soarin. Soarin wait times are much lower than they used to be, and it's extremely easy to get Soarin as a 4th or 5th FP.

I vote for doing FEA and then returning to Soarin'. It is some extra walking, but my family has had great success doing this on several occasions.

I’m glad to hear this. We’re planning to RD Frozen from IG and then head to Soarin. We have TT fastpasses that morning as well.

How long should it take to accomplish FEA and Soarin at RD?

Depending on the date/crowd-level and walking speed, figure 45-75 min.

She is 11. As of now, she’d ride TT with the rest of us. I am just trying to make a trip plan to get everyone’s faves in.
We may just split up (there are 8 of us). My mom would prefer Frozen as well.

Generally, how are the lines for single rider for TT? My daughter wants to stick with everyone else. For now, we will attempt FEA in the AM.

Does FEA open earlier than the rest of World Showcase? Or does World Showcase open at the same time as the rest of the park now? I know in the past WS didn’t open until 11.

FEA opens when the front of the park opens

I was there the middle of June and had 8:00 GG breakfast reservations. Was down in line for Soarin at 845 and was let on the ride about 850. Was off the ride about 903 and went straight to FEA and waited 10 minutes.

We just did a pre-park opening breakfast at Akershus, then at 9am did FEA and the meets and greet with Anna and Elsa. The went right down to Soarin and had everything done by around 10am. We had fast passes for Test Track at 10:30 to 11:30. Worked out great

touring plans did a video on this they found not much different if you did Sorin or FEA first

Saw that one and was wondering or more like pondering FeA before Soarin because of the "newness" of FeA and being a bit difficult to get FP+ for FeA. We are having breakfast @ 7:30 @ Trattoria al Forno then will head over to Epcot after, TT was our FP+ as the video made me think it is possible to do both wo FP+, if not meh, we will be in Epcot!!
