The film for soarin is wearing out, seems a little washed out, and has more spots. Still wonderful.
Space now has two lines--orange and green. Orange is the same as always. Green leaves out the centrifuge component, so you have less g-forces, overall a less intense ride. I love it, but I was not a fan of the old Space--motion sickness. Suggest--if you have time--try both (green first) and see what you like best!
We rode Soarin for the first time a couple of weeks ago so I can't comment on that except to say that I loved it. We did Mission Space on the green side and it was great. I had ridden it a couple of years ago and got very sick but I was willing to try again and I loved it. There's still movement but not the spinning. Go for it.
Mission:Space now has the Orange Team (original) and Green Team (less intense). We had always done the original version but I can't do that anymore. We tried the Green Team, thinking it would be a dud. I can honestly say that this ride still kicks butt! Other than the G forces at the beginning, there's nothing, absolutely nothing, that we noticed being different. Except the warnings with the Green Team are greatly reduced. My husband can still do the Orange Team but will be doing the Green Team with me from now on because it's just as great as the original.
