Hi. I just saw that my 3 year old is going to be tall enough this year to ride soarin. Actually there are a bunch of "new" rides for her this year - some of which I have nixed based on the scary factor. But, I'm not sure about Soarin. Has anyone here ever taken a 3 year old on Soarin? She loves rides and is generally very calm. I just don't want her to start crying or something in the middle.

Thanks!
Lesley

Our three-year old granddaughter liked it last year at DCA, but my wife who is afraid of heights didn't enjoy the ride at all. YMMV.

Hi. We have been back from Disney a couple of weeks now. Our DD3 really enjoyed Soarin'. We actually did not think that she would be 40" at Disney, but to our surprise she was. Now, my DD3 loved Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, Test Track and Kali River Rapids. The only thing that actually scares my DD3 is really loud noises, specifically fireworks. At the end of Soarin, there is a fireworks scene so my DH and I just covered her ears. I know each child is different. With Soarin', you will be able to hold her hand during the ride, that tends to help my DD if she has any doubts about a ride.
