Soaps weekend

Has anyone been at MGM the soaps weekend?We are planning our days and thought we would do MGM Sat. Nov 8th. But if the park is too busy that day maybe we should do it on Fri. Nov. 7th.Reading these posts that weekend is really going to be busy.I dont mind lines but DH gets grumpy. Thanks all.

We went one year when Soaps weekend was in September, and it really did not have much affect on the park at all. Most of the events were for meeting the stars and getting autographs etc, so it did not have much of an impact on the attractions at all.
