Soap opera week and NJ schools out?

I just read another thread about 'soap opera week' in November, and NJ schools out the same week?

Is that fall break, or all schools in the state?

Any info?

All of the public schools in the state are off for 2 days in the beginning of Nov. each year for the teacher's convention in Atlantic City.

It's actually called Super Soap Weekend and it is the weekend of November 8th and 9th. This will affect the crowd at MGM.

From what I have read on other threads the schools are out on November 6th and November 7th this year. I am not from New Jersey so if I am wrong, please correct me. From what I have read this means that a lot of families take the extra time to make the trek to Disney World. We will be there from November 8th through November 15th so I have been trying to track events.

The Food and Wine Festival is also happening at Epcot during this time.
