Veggies, gravy, sausage and sauerkraut. I forget what was in the red thing. Biscuits were in a basket behind one of my uncles.

The Aftermath.

My little Mickey tree! I got it when I was a CP in 2008 The two big ornaments on it were attached to candy canes I bought at Walgreens, and the other ornaments are ones I've bought over the last few years. The Tigger/snowman one was from 2007, the Evil Queen from 2010, and the Pooh is my new one from this year.

We always have too much food at holidays. Part of that is because everyone likes all these different things. We don't normally have turkey for Christmas (it's usually ham and Polish sausage/sauerkraut and occasionally something else), but my mom made it because I asked her if she would. I have to be in the right mood for ham and I just haven't been feeling it lately There were seven of us for dinner (my parents, my brother and his girlfriend, me, and my two uncles).

Also, so jealous that you're going to Hawaii I've never been there!

Don't give up hope, I was in my mid-forties before our first trip to Kauai. It's a beautiful island.

We got it at Dominick's. They normally just have the regular Kerrygold butter, but they had the sticks of the garlic/herb butter on sale for cheaper than we'd ever seen the Kerrygold, so we grabbed a stick.

No sailing for Hawaii, used our DVC points for 3 nights at Aulani and traded with someone for Maui.

Yeah, they'd said they were willing to let me have another physical, but at my own expense. I was uninsured and had no way to pay for it, so I couldn't. Oh well I did other things instead
