Oh well, I'm sure they appreciated it.

Pizza sounds good anyway. It's the perfect food.

Not when you have to nuke it. The directions said not to cook it in a conventional or toaster oven. I wouldn't have bought it had I known that. I like thin crispy crust, unless I'm having a true Chicago pizza, I'll have to wait until Dana takes us for that, but I've had some pretty good others.

Sometimes, but I like the normal pizza, not thick not thin. I do like a chewy crust.

If you have another, try microwaving and then put it in a toaster over. It works good on left over delivery pizza too.

I figured...but just thought I'd mention. Took me by surprise :rotfl2:

So who's Mickey and Minnie ?

And what's this HKDL???

:confused3

Me thinks I need sleepy time :faint:

I took a look at the Starbucks bear dressed up as a dragon. I decided to give it a miss. The pricing was wrong. At $21.95, its too much to pay for a dust collector. At $9.95...maybe.

Hello LASTer's!!! Happy New Year! :yay:

Long time, no LAST. Hope everyone is doing well. Good to see(read) from ya'll again!!!

popcorn::

Tubachick! Nice to see you here again. Happy New Year. Any trips to Disney or Oz for you this year?

Will you try waving so I can see you? Bon Voyage!
Don't worry too much, I think we all missed it.

Me too. I don't feel so bad for missing it given everyone else did.

I was a block and a half away from the bluff where I could have watched, but we were trying to wrap up our work at First Street. We got 5 locks/knobs installed (well Darcy's brother did, mine didn't go well at all). In fact Jim couldn't get my lock installed, we gave up until Thursday.

Tonight the kitties got Chicken Satay. I made some and it didn't come out so well. Fran is having a bowl of cereal instead. :lmao:

Nice to see that you got new locks/knobs installed.

What recipe did you use for Chicken Satay?

Now I want deep dish pizza as well.

I'm being good and have been good all day. :headache:

Is that another Brit/Aussie slang thing?

I think it comes from the old days of horse and carriage. I guess to pull up the horse well to stop the carriage is a bit like a smooth landing.

So...did you and DS get back from skiing safely without any further aches and pains in the body?

Goodnight PIO, sleep well and have a good day tomorrow.

Just came back from seeing "Love Never Dies" at the Capitol Theatre...

Did you end up going to see that in Melbourne PIO? I had a feeling you got a special offer or something and decided you might go?

Anyway...
Really enjoyed it. It's used the movie as a bridge to introduce new musical themes which are intertwined into the brand new music in "Love Never Dies."
There's a HUGE tear jerker moment if you know the words and music of one of the movie scenes

If it ever gets to the USA and you are a fan of the original stage production and the movie I HIGHLY recommend it. Don't research the story or any of that. I didn't which was great.

Bit of a debate in the household as to if the guy who played the Phantom was good. I know there are better out there but I thought this guy was good. ::yes::
He doesn't have the history and training behind him that Anna (Christine) has. But he captured the spirit of the Phantom, the torment, the deep passion.
If you want to HEAR him listen to this (without looking at the setting :lmao: ) because it does bring a tear to my eye. It IS the Phantom...despite having seen two stage phantoms and the movie one before...

It's funny though because the 'classic' Phantom and Christine in Australia are Anthony Warlow and Marina Prior. The guy isn't currently in anything but I suspect he either dismissed it, his voice has lost some power, or there was a cross over with Dr Zhivago in some way (his last production.) The lady is currently Mrs Banks in Mary Poppins in Brisbane.

ETA - this is one of the new songs from the production

This is the Christine in the Australian production I saw tonight

I saw on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy that if you put the pizza slices in a skillet with a lid on top you melt the cheese and get a crispy crust. Best tip ever!

Morning! And LAST!

Morning! And LAST!

I love that tip! I will have to try it soon!

And I am now hungry; so much for dieting here at work with snack machines everywhere! :rotfl2:

Working the night shift again this week!

How is fran?
