of the first two 75 years of Mickey POMs... I have to ask...

What do you think?

I just can't get over how nice they are. I would say this is the pin that comes the closest to being a true collectable. Either by them sefs or as a set. The detal is fantastic. This is the first pin/pins in a long time that I have seen that is more than just a pin. Good job Disney...

Your thoughts...

Nat,

I love the design, and I really like the Steamboat Willie. Personally, I am not terribly fond of the second one.. I'll probably just get the ones I like rather than the entire set.

What I think is I'm going to start hunting for a 12 compartment black shadow box that will hold the pins sitting on their easels. If I can't find a premade one I'm going to get my husband to build one.

I originally hated the pins because they don't fit in my pin books well because of the easel. Then I heard the pins were very nice and the easels were removable, so I decided to collect them and take the easels off. Now I think they deserve a special home. If anyone spots a shadow box that fits the bill, let me know.

Leslie that blasphemous talk you must buy them all and complete the set, no if ands or buts.

Don’t let me catch you buying just the ones you like :p

Far out Cynthia you go girl

I’m thinking buy a Barbie doll house and turn it into a Disney Pin art museum and set all your easel pins up in there.

Who are you calling sister??? :teeth:

How pretty! The pins sets are impressive and loved the garden.

Probably dumb question. New to the pin thing...

Are these only for sale at the parks or are they available at Disney Store?

Thanks

Although I only have #1 Steamboat Willie (so far), I love it. A nice oversized pin with great detail. If you are planning on displaying your pins on the easel, here is a little trick I use to help stablize the pin. Take an old Disney pin backer card, cut out a small strip that will fit behind the pin and not interfere with the easel. Place the pin back on the easel, line up the pegs/holes then carefully push the pin post(s) through the rigid plastic strip. Attach the rubber or metal pinback(s) and you have a pin that will not easily topple off it's perch if bumped or handled.
