So who's joining the ride competition??

My ride is already done. Well, I don't know if one could call it a ride, but the room name is called

Alice in Triple Ride Land!
(I did a play of my name (Allison) and made it VMK with Alice in..and just ran with it)
So yeah, the outer ride goes clockwise in a large circle. inside that is another circle of track that goes counter-clockwise. inside that is another circle of track that goes clockwise. oh yeah, they go up and down too. plus the start pieces are all lined up and if you time your clicks right you can swerve from the very outside track to the very inside track. it's kinda cool when you do it!

and inside the smaller circle are 4 rocket couches for anyone who just wants to sit and chat.

it won't be much for a ride competition, but it should make a great closing-time room! (hint)

I'm with milkabum too. Leaning towards sitting it out because of the problems. Spend a lot of credits and then if you dont win, get a cheap prize. VMK doesnt offer any specials for ride events, it's always full retail charges for the tracks. And even the winners prizes arent so good. Practially everyone has a Top Ten pin now, and who needs 1 or 2 of something that will never be released?

And speaking of which they never even sold the seagull bird lamp! Why?

I'm glad to see some people haven't been discouraged by the inflation of ride pieces.

I have been discouraged. I went to shop this morning and could not believe they were only selling individual pieces and not the ride packs that are more affordable. If they do not put up some ride piece packs for us to buy, I doubt I will want to do it, unless they are talking about a one-room competition!

My question is is it single or team competition this time? The other day I finally read it where it said it was single, but I checked it this morning and didn't see any sign of it being single. I want to join a team competition for the fun of it after all. Though it wouldn't stop me from being a single.
I wonder what it truly is......

From what I read it's a single competition. I'm almost done with my first room which is the most elaborate. If they turn this into a team competition, I'm going to be really mad because I know a team of people can easily create something better than just one and I'll have spent all that time and credits for nothing.

It's not much for a competition, but it's great for a closing!
and if they (VMK) gets too picky, I'll throw in a teleporter and have it end in another room. maybe take some of the straight pieces out and have it curve around and teleport out.

either way, my ride is done. I like it. it can hold a fair number of people at one time. I'm happy.
