Where do you go? What's your major? What classes are you taking? Have you started yet?

I started this past Monday. I sat out a year so it feels weird to be back at school and I'm at a new school to boot. I used to go to University of Kentucky now I go to Western Kentucky University. My major is government with a minor in history. I'm taking some killer classes this semester. Some good some bad. I've got:
Political Campaigns
Swimming :)
Research Methods in Behavorial Politics
History of the Old South
Astronomey

I like 3 out of the five classes, so not too bad. ;) So what is everyone else taking? Hope everyone has a good semester, I'm actually glad to be back, I'm ready to graduate!

Not sure if I count as a college student, but I am back in school this semester. :)

I'm in law school. This is my LAST YEAR so I am VERY excited!! I'm taking:
International Law
International Litigation and Arbitration
Successions and Donations
Bankruptcy
Advanced Trial and Evidence

No swimming. :( ;)

Sounds interesting, huh?

I'm back also. We started this past Monday. I'm majoring in Elementary Ed and am taking

Algebra
Biology
Bio lab (of couse this needs an ADDITIONAL textbook!)
Psychology
English Composition II

I took 4 courses during the summer sessions and was ready for them to end before the six weeks were up! How am I going to keep going in the classes until December?? :o

I am "this close" to getting my Elementary Education degree!!! I started attending a local university at the ripe age of 39 in 1999. It will take me 4 1/2 long, tiring years but will be worth it in the end (May 2003)

My classes start Monday and will be:

Methods and Materials in Health and PE in Elementary Schools
Pennsylvania
Environmental Education
Curriculum and Assessment
Natural Disasters

Then student teaching in January!!!!

I don't start until another week and a half, I think it's Wednesday.

I really hate most of my classes. They decided this year that it would be a good idea to pick classes for the freshman (which I think was a stupid idea), so I had no say in my classes:

Current Health Issues
Communication in Action
Writing Effective Prose
General Psychology (the only class I picked bc I switched out of an honors lab)
Racism/Sexism in the US
Freshman Seminar

Right now my major is math, but that could change since I'm only a freshman.

Well, I don't start until Sept 3rd. My sophmore year of Music Education. I'm taking:

Sightsinging
music Theory
Applied music
intoduction to stars and galaxies
concert/forum attendance
music tech for music educators
piano class

I attend the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). I am a Sophomore this year. I took both summer sessions so I wouldn't get lazy.

I start Monday, and I'm Majoring in Elementary Education. This semester I'm taking 17 hours and they are...

Introduction to Meteorology/Climatology-YUCK!
Meteorology Lab....yes a seperate book too!-YUCK
Sociology of the Family
Arithmetical Problem Solving....(this is kinda like Elementary School Math.)
Spanish Level 1
Childrens Literature

Got you beat there, Karen. I went back to school this past summer at 43! Geez...I should have done this 20 years ago! It's amazing what will finally give you the push to do it. ;)

I go to a local university. I'm a double major student. I'm majoring in both Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I'm a senior this year. This semester I'm taking:

Infant and Toddler Education
Instructional: Teaching Early Childhood
Refining and Integrating Curriculum
Refining and Integrating Curriculum Lab - (which means going into an elementary school all day Monday as a student/teaching assistant)
And ----- I'm not sure if I need an elective or not??? If so, I guess I'll take whatever course is open.

Next semester: Student Teaching, unless I get into the Internship program. :)

I start back full-time Wednesday, but I've been up on campus all week long. Bleh!

Kyle, I actually graduated 2 years ago from Uconn with a Political Science major, your classes sound great. I'm sure that's easy for me to say bc I won't be doing the 2am cramming sessions but they actually don't sound that bad! Good Luck:D

I started school this past Wednesday. I'm a theatre major. :) It's my last year! I'm taking....

basic theatre production
tap dance

Western Civilization
Theatre history

and voice lessons. hehe.

I'm going to be going nutso if I get cast in the show!

I am a post-bachelor pre-elementary education student majoring in Social Studies with a minor in Early Childhood Education. I attend Wayne State University in Detroit and classes on September 3rd (my wedding anniversary:p) I am only taking two classes this semester:
