So what's the "Christmas Special?"

The DVC placeholder at the Contemporary told me today that there was a "Christmas Special" but that I would have to call my guide to find out what it is. I have no desire to spend time chitchatting with my guide only to find out it's the same old deal on Kidani. Anyone know what the deal is?

I stopped by and talked to a guide ref the "Christmas Special" at WDW. I picked up a couple of price sheets (sorry, I didn't get AKV ) I was interested in 50 points at BLT, but it was just $5.00 off the new $120.00 per point price. I am hoping the web special is better than the "Christmas Special", though with the small amount I am interested in--it probably will not be.

I think the 2009 points and the pro-rated dues are pretty standand.
If the prices mentioned on the webcast were the same for VGC as AKV (and I don't know if they are the same because I didn't get the AKV price listing for the Christmas Special and they only mentioned AKV on the webcast), it looks like the Christmas Special might be a better deal in some cases:
