So What's considered a "combo"???

So what the heck is a "combo"??? All the menus I'm looking at I don't see something called a combo. I see bugers with fries, pizzas with side salad, waffles with potatoes and bacon, things called platters wtih different foods...would each of these be considered an "entree" and be eligible for a drink plus juice(breakfast only) or dessert (lucnh/dinner only)?

Can I go to Casey's and get the hotdog w/fries, a brownie and a drink?
Can I go to the ASMo and get the breakfast platter, an OJ and an extra drink?

Or is the platter and hotdog/fries considered a 'combo'?

and, no...I'm not normally this slow. Don't know what's going on with my brain.

The "combo" meal is usually listed at the restaurant; pre determined.
The most common combo: pizza and a side salad
Breakfast platter may be considered a combo, though some are reporting still getting 2 beverages with that choice, so perhaps it isn't really a combo.
The rib/chicken platter at Cosmic Ray's would also be combo meal.

Combo or not all of those meals also include at least one beverage AND dessert (not breakfast).

Bottom line: restaurant gets to decide.

First, there are places that join everything together like your entree, sides, dessert and drink. I would consider this somewhat of a package deal.

Second, there are places where you can order two entress (like ribs and chicken) with your choice of the rest.

Usually, combos are either a really good value (discounted) as a package deal or a lot of food; because, it includes two entrees. That's how I look at it.

Several quick service restaurants have meals that include entree and side(french fries,apple slices,mashed potatoes,applesauce,pasta salad). depends on the restaurant. Cosmic Rays at MK is a good choice.
