I am currently reading Strange Defeat by Marc Bloch for my World War II seminar, An Unfinished Life by Robert Dallek and The Warrior and the Priest by John Milton Cooper for my Presidential Biography seminar. I have about 40+ books to read for my 4 research papers and thesis preparation in the next 2 months.

i'm reading Beka Cooper:Terrier by Tamora Pierce...
Tamora Pierce is such a great author...
she writes about really strong heroines that aren't damsels in distress...
i would definitely recommend it...

EDIT: OMG. The Giver is turning into a movie? Wow, that would be one..interesting movie. I read The Giver in 6th grade. I thought it was kind of sad. =[

Is it good? Eclipse is amazing, I am almost done. (I got it yesterday) Something Borrowed...I dont know its just not my style.
Would you recommend it to others? EVERYONE needs to read the Twilight series! However I would not recoment Something Borrowed...its soooo slow moving.

Would you recommend it to others? No, unless I knew it was their particular style.

I'll hopefully be reading the Twilight series next, if it's at my library when I go those weekend.

I'm in book limbo for a day or so (lol) but here's what I just finished:

The Other Boelyn Girl!
The movie is awesome, but does not do the book justice.
Definately recommended for history lovers and ages 14+.

Can't wait for Breaking Dawn (AUGUST 2!!!!)

My 6th grade teacher read The Giver to us.
Then we read it again in 8th grade (by then I had bought it and read it numerous times). We really got to study it in-depth, even creating our own utopias in groups. (Although when you REALLY uncover the book, it is EXTREMELY distopian (sp?) and pretty freaky!)

I read the Giver and the Outsiders in 6th grade. I remember liking the Giver but thinking it was creepy..not so much the Outsiders..

I just finished Avalon High. It was awesome. I highly recommend it.

Now, I'm reading I was a Non-Blond Cheerleader. It was the only other library book I had. I seriously need to get to the library, and get some new books.
