So, What is it Like With NO MK Night Time Parade? :((

I imagine this would be just for October as Castle lighting will begin in November, though I have not seen the Nov. schedule yet. If I remember correctly , there was Castle lighting at 6:30 and 7:15 last year every night including parties. I just remember that doing the park sweep in the HUB area was a bear because of the second lighting show on party nights.

Castle Lighting begins Nov. 4th at 6:15 and 7:30 on non-party nights. MRFF could possibly run sometime between the 2 lightings although the first year of the Lightings, sadly, Dream Along got booed.

Yes. I agree. MK without a night time parade ......... that is an obvious hole. When folks say there will be no more, even without any knowledge I disagree. I think DHS would go back to no fireworks/evening show other than Fantasmic, AK would never have added night time activity if the plan was for MK to be "dark". If Disney were going the UO/IOA route of year round early closings and then renting out parts of the park or after hour events, then yes I could see that. I don't think they can compete in that arena, so I don't see it happening.
I'm not worried. I see "rumors of light" for MK .......... and AK.

And this I like even more, lol! Hmm, either Fof puts some lights on it, lol, or maybe spectro gets redone? Well whatever way, like the lights, lol! Just hoping it's not too much later than sooner!

It MAY be nice to have a nice "quiet" evening walk down Main Street, something we have never done. But, the trade off will be many, many more guests waiting in lines or in the dining establishments.

If there's no parade, and your feet get tired, why stick around?

No PM parade also = less incentive to eat dinner (ADR) in the park. You can see fireworks from a variety of spots outside MK, but not the parades.

For us it means we'll see the 3 p.m. parade for the first time. Looks too, like we can get everything we want done by 4 p.m., so we'll head out relax and then just come back for Wishes fireworks arriving at 8:30 p.m. Hoping it will be a little less of a madhouse without the parade.

I am completely disappointed that MSEP has been cancelled AND there is no replacement. The parades are one of the things that sets Disney apart from "other" theme parks and makes the experience unique. Now it is reduced to 1 daytime parade. We are going for 10 days and we used to be able to see a different parade every few days, but no more. It will just seems very non magical to no longer have night time parades.

Exactly. It's one of the things I remember most about Disney from when I was a kid. I don't think there will ever be a replacement. It's sad but probably true
