We have been blessed that we have been able to go to Disneyland for the past 11 years, going again in December. :goodvibes

So my question, what do you do with all the "stuff"? (Disneyland park maps, Disneyland tickets, hotel keys with your name on it from Disneyland)
Do you keep it to remember that trip? If so, do you make a scrapbook? Or do you just get rid of it?

What do you do with all the "goodies" that you buy? We wear our sweatshirts, t-shirts and use our mugs daily and our Christmas ornaments go on our tree, but what about the pins? The Lanyards? The vinylmations? Trying to think of a creative way to show them off and not in a Ziploc baggie.

Thanks!

We put a bulletin board in each kids room when they were younger. They could pin up park maps, unused FP's, tickets, stick in their buttons, etc. They hung their lanyards with their pins on them, and hung their keychains from pushpins. You can hang the vinylmations with string, too. It's fun because its easy to add and change things as they get older. They are teens now, and still have lots of Disney stuff on their boards!

I will add I have my own bulletin board over my desk with plenty of Disney stuff on it!

I'd love some ideas on how to display those pins in a nice classy way if possible. They just hang on a lanyard on my dresser. Not real clean. I'd love to show them off in a cool way.

We got each of the kids some real nice Disney pin portfolios. They have a few pages inside which can display hundreds of pins. I cannot remember which store had them but it was inside the parks, or at world of disney

I display all my Disney memorabilia around the apartment, such as my hats and Mickey ears. My R2 mug is on a shelf, but I don't really have any clothes. I proudly display mine, though!

I picked up a small old china cabinet to put my small DL stuff in such as my Vinylmations, and other small DL souviners. Popcorn buckets are on top of it in a corner of my office. The rest of the stuff is either on my walls, or put away in my office. I do keep all my trip info, and use it as a reference for future trips to give me ideas of costs etc from trip to trip. I also scrapbook some of it as well.

I display a lot of it in my office... mugs, pins, and the plushies occupy my extra chairs. I use my pop corn buckets as a Candy "dish" and change them out seasonally.

As for maps I like to keep those in scrapbooks, I love scrapbooks!

I have also changed my shopping habits, and buy wrist watches, hand bags and dish ware, "stuff" I can use in daily life :-)

I plan to make a shadow box with various trip stuff in it.

I don't keep maps, room cards etc and I rarely buy things that sit around. I go for clothing or usable items such as kitchen things. I don't have any interest in collecting a bunch of Disney stuff, though I do have the special item here and there.

With park maps I make coasters, magnets, placements, bookmarks and photo borders with them. The free pins I make magnets out of them (really cheap to do). Other then that scrapbooks and some stuff in boxes is where the rest is.
An idea for the Lanyards would be to get a medals rack or make one.

I've got all the stuff, just haven't put together any displays yet. I do have my tiki mugs from Trader Joe's and my C33 stuff in the display case though.
