Finally after too many hours of sleep my sister woke up! We were able to open presents and I got some great stuff! My favorites were the cute mickey scarf and mickey tote bag, which were a total surprise! I loved the Scrubs DVD's I got, too! Yeah for Santa! :)

At my house we open presents Christmas eve, so I get to sleep :) Haha in my house I'm the one we need to wake up :P But there is always santa, and santa came late this year, so my brother didn't wake me up at 5:00 in the morning...

Anyway I got a digital camera (Nikon Coolpix 4600) an iHome (finally I can replace the alarm clock I've had since I was born) the Grimmerie (it's a Wicked thing) Son of a Witch (another Wicked thing, it's the second book) christmas bear beanie baby, $75 cash, 25 Visa Gift card, $15 to Barns and Noble, $25 to target (all of those mean shopping time! haha) then this morning I got two HUGE memory cards for my camera, a metranome/tuner, a Japense-English/English-Japanese dictionary, a really nice dance pad for DDR compatible for both xBox and playstation, and the Narnia game for xBox! It's been a good haul this year :P

Santa is taking me to Sin City tomorrow morning, baby! (What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...)
LOL! I wish Santa could fly me away from here for the holidays! ( actually, just take me away from my job! )
But, as the saying goes, what happens here stays here! :(

I got:
Juggling Sticks
Eminem's Curtain Call
Killer Bunnies Blue
Killer Bunies Red
Katamari Damacy
Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
Clothes
Magic Cards
Muntchkin
Sly 2: Band of Theives.

All in all, this Christmas rocked for me. Especially PoP:TTT. I thought the Speed Kills would be, you know, complicated and stuff. But after Speed Killing a soldier by dropping off a support beam, I found that it is kind of easy to pull off.

Let's see, I got the joy of a 4AM wakeup call from the puppy...followed by the 6AM greeting of DS saying,"Oh you're not Santa! I guess I can be up now!" LOL

This year we were worried about whether DS6 had gotten enough. It's been a hard year, and we wanted to be sure that Santa came through for him. Well, it only took almost 2 hours to get through all of the gifts! He got a VCam kid's digital video camera, a 4 megapixel digital camera, Polar Express game for the GameCube, TONS of Pyrates Megablocks sets, enough new clothes to last for a long time, and a guitar.

DH got a new watch, new clothes, a badly needed toolbox, tools, dress shoes for conferences, an Xbox (with a 360 on order) with 2 new games, a year of Xbox Live, Xbox accessories and some new CD's.

As for me, I got some Bath and Body Works items (I LOVE the new Brown Sugar and Fig scent!), slippers, an electric throw blanket for being at the computer in, new kitchenware, 3 IASW porcelain dolls (Holland, France and England), the holiday snowglobe tree from Disney Shopping (LOVE IT).

Of course, the best part of the day might have been the fact that I did not have to cook as my mom did it all last night and brought it over this morning. I got to relax, drink a few Egg Nogg and Parrot Bay's and relax with friends and family! :goodvibes

Merry Christmas everyone!! :cold:

Let me start off by saying Merry Christmas and a Happy Birthday to Patchy!

DH and I didnt wake until 8:30. This meant we would be late for breakfast at my parents that my sis was making for our arrival at 9. I gave mom a call and told her it would be another hour before we got over there.

DH and I went back and forth opening our gifts to each other. He had gotten me a wireless mouse, wireless router and then I had a lovely Amethyst earring and necklace set. I was slightly baffled as to the electrontic selection I got from him and he responded he wanted me to be able to play on my Nintendo DS with other people. I thought that was nice.

Let's cut to the end of our "opening presents session" at my parents house. We began at 10 and it was going on 2. We were all STARVED and had just finished with our final gifts. I am standing and giving everyone kisses and hugs of thanks for all the gifts. My dad comes in from the kitchen, and places a VERY large box (as in, bigge than a TV) in front of me. I hate being embarrassed and asked who it was from. All DH could say, was that Santa brought it. After I unwrapped each box (yes, there were about 5 boxes wrapped inside each other that I had to unwrap), I came to a Dell box. Much to my surprise, DH (read: SANTA) had gotten me a laptop!

He filled me in that my mouse and wireless router were for this. I had been fooled!!! So yes, come to find out, EVERYONE was in on this secret and DH had asked my father to wrap it for me. And wrap my father did :rotfl: .

So that is my happy present story. Needless to say, I am quite proudly using my present at this very moment :teeth:

thanks DH, I love you

Oh, did I also mention the fact he got me this so we have another computer in the house which means I can be on my DIS/VMK and he can play his World Of Warcraft?!? ;) He is so sneaky!

Oh no... The words I dreaded to hear, more than anything, this morning, after I thought I had survived, mostly unscathed, the horrors of yesterday.

"Daddy, can I have another balloon?"

NOOOOOOooooooooooooo.......

ps - yesterday, i did make a very deformed balloon doggy. his name is quasi.

pps - if this post makes no sense to you, move right along. just the senseless ramblings of another victim of holiday cheer and family.

:rotfl: I suffered a similar fate earlier this year when my DD received a balloon animal kit. She showed me the picture of the animal she wanted, handed me the kit and very patiently waited. Upon completion, she kindly asked, :earseek: "Daddy what is it?". I told her it was a very rare and endangered species. I think I have her convinced now that it is more fun to pump up the balloons and let them fly. ;)

Well, apparently Santa isn't as together as you would think....he apparently dropped one of my presents off and it managed to stay in DH's car until this morning....seemingly forgotten. Hmmm.....Santa found me a very pretty pearl pink Nintendo DS. LOL Like we need one more gaming system in the house. On the good side, the battery life is 6-10 hours, so I can play it down to Disney and back on one charge. Woot! Better than watching mile markers

Santa brought me,

Nintendo DS(gray)

Nintendogs(Daschund and friends)

Animal Crossing wild world

A new computer!!

I got 25 rotten pumpkins with flies.

My wife said she bought them on ebay, and the seller said they were genuine park decorations that were no longer being used. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

no, i did get some nice things though.
a couple playstation 2 games (Star Wars Battlefront II, and World Poker Tour)
Some mickey mouse stuff for my desk (stapler, tape dispenser, pen/pencil/notepad holder etc)
lots of clothes (which i needed lol)

My son got me a very cool tie from his school's christmas shop. It has the bumble, rudolf, hermie the elf, and sam the snowman on it from rudolph the red nosed reindeer. It may sound tacky, but actually it is very cool looking.

and i kid you not on this one, my daughter started in late November and made me 15 mules and wrote their names down and they each now have 10,000 credits. She put the paper with the mules logins and pw's typed on a sheet of paper and wrapped it in a little box.

Now THAT gift both surprised me, and made me quite happy. Smart kid, that one is. ;)

Wow, looks like Santa was excellent to everybody!!!! YAYAYAY! :)

I was thoroughly overwhelmed with gifts yet again this year. Shamrock got me a Festival of the Masters pin (this baby is H U G E!) that was signed by the artist, an original Epcot opening day coin (another H U G E thing!), the lighting keyboard I have been wanting, and an original print from WDW -- the Jungle Cruise/Adventureland portrait! :earseek: This is not a copy, but an original just like the one underneath the railroad station in the Magic Kingdom. It is framed in a gold design and very cool! :bounce:  :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

His dad and sis made me an enormous gift basket of countless Disney plush characters. Everyone is there from Pluto to Mickey to Stitch to the Aristocats. There is an Ariel snowglobe in the middle as well. I loved it! :)

Other things I got included a package delivered ON CHRISTMAS SUNDAY from my Zeta Secret Pal. It had many WDW things in it including pins from the holiday pin quest. I also got Bath & Body Works gift sets, the new Bo Bice CD, Purse Brite Lighted Purse Organizer (SO COOL!!!!), a pink poker chip set and more. :cloud9:

Wonderful gifts and fun!

Oh, and as a side note, I got the new Motorola Razor phone and Bluetooth headset yesterday while we were doing a little "post-holiday shopping." :Pinkbounc
