I have two rooms at Coronado BC for Feb. (we have 5 kids). I have the Disney Visa. I called to see about spd and they were already booked and couldn't add the discounted amount for the package. They said I can add tickets and dining but not at the spd rates. Ugh! We also also have starwood points and have 2 rooms at the Swan. I guess I'll be using those instead of onsite.

Was it because they didn't have any discounted rooms available? Have you thought about switching resorts?

Try switching resorts. If your not willing to be flexible then maybe this discount won't work for you. I love POFQ but I switched to get a better deal.

I would also try calling again. Sometimes you can get a more helpful CM on a second or even third try.

Yes. I called back. Thanks! He was able to change my room only to package first then he applied the code! The others didn't offer that as a possibility!

yep that was the issue, you didn't have a package reservation and you must have one to get the discount. The first CM apparently didn't even think of explaining that.
