So upset...and feel ridiculous

I was doing this quest where you have to catch the 30 ghosts. I feel so stupid...I worked on it forever and was finally able to do it. Then I was supposed to visit the place in Tomorrowland for vehicles with metal wheels.

I visited every driving station in Tomorrowland and couldn't find it. So the quest sent me back to before the Haunted Mansion game.

This is so stupid...I'm ready to cry over this. My daughter was with me and was so upset...I feel like I let her down.

I don't know if I have the courage to try this quest again...but can someone tell me where the place for vehicles with metal wheels is supposed to be?

Any answers for this quest would be appreciated, as I have to be prepared if I can ever catch the 30 ghosts again.

The Tomorrowland Monorail Station. I was thinking the same thing when I first did the quest! lol. It isn't stupid at all. Just go to the Tomorrowland Hub and through the teleporter in there.

I beleive it's in the quest help thread for this quest, but here it is.

Hightlight: Tomorrowland Monorail. Go to the Tomorrowland hub, then walk into the teleporter with the monorail picture over it.

You shouldn't feel stupid at all! Many of us thought the same way you did.

And if you need help with getting 30 ghosts, please post on the forum asking for help. Some of us can help you play a game to catch 30 of them.

Your definetely not alone! I had to do that part a couple times. And I did it when they kept changing the quests so the time would keep going down and was very frustrating. Now I'm on the green car quest and have plain given up. haha

If you are having trouble playing Mansion and getting 30 ghosts in two rounds, here are some tips:

1) Try a different computer/internet connection. Just give it a try at a friend's house to see if it's your PC or Internet connection that is causing you trouble.

2) Try changing your control style. A lot of people first started playing using the mouse to move. There are also two different keyboard layouts you can change in the Keys button. Whichever you do now, give something different a try. I know a lot of people didn't like the standard keyboard layout because it's crooked. So they didn't even try it and so they didn't get used to it. Give it a try a while and get used to it and maybe you will do better.

3) If you are going for credits, don't worry about un-ghosting your opponents. You can be nice and un-ghost them if they happen to be in front of you, but you don't get credits for doing it. I don't know whether the quest counts un-ghosting your opponents or not but I wouldn't be suprised if it didn't! Certainly don't chase them to get them, and absolutely don't chase them right into a trap where you get ghosted yourself!

4) Lastly, play with someone better at Mansion than you are. When they win, they get an extra 40 credits and that's it, no big deal - let them win (as if you had a choice, remember, they're better at Mansion than you).

If they are running circles around you and getting all of their ghosts out of the way, that makes it MUCH easier for you to get your ghosts without getting ghosted yourself. This same principle applies to multiple-against-one games when you are on the ONE side, but that's really not necessary if you just play with someone better than you.

When I played the car quest, I was confused by that clue too. I eventually guessed the monorail station on my own, but I was still disappointed by the clue. I happen to be knowledgeable about the monorails, and there are no metal wheels that I know of. Under the skirt, the monorails have rubber tires, not metal wheels.

Thanks again guys...and thanks Steve for the Haunted Mansion tips. I do use the mouse and sometimes it seems to get stuck and my character doesn't move. Maybe I'll try the keyboard with the new layout next time.

Also, since I posted above, I was able to get the 30 ghosts needed. That's about the most I can really get, so I won't be trying for the next color car anytime soon!!

Lastly, where can I find my new Disfriends on VMK? Is there ever a gathering in a certain place?

If you are using your mouse, make sure you aren't constantly clicking it. You only need to move your mouse to make your character move. Clicking slows things down and can make you get stuck.
