Making plans to return to WDW with a friend in September, I checked last years thread to see when the pin codes came out. Realized I should already have had one. Checked my email trash. That's right. I had thrown the code I was waiting for out. Oops. Good thing I could still retrieve it.

Whew, that was close and congrats for getting it. I have my trash emptying every hour so it would have been gone. Oh, and in over 30 years of going at least every other year and twice a year for the past 3 years, I've never received a pin code.

That's a shame. I know we go over why some people get them and some don't endlessly. There used to be a membership you could pay for that would get you Disney discounts (forget the name, they discontinued it long ago). I wonder if the fact that I belonged to that is the key. Or the Disney Magic Rewards, or the Disney Movie Club?

Just got off the phone. They had almost no availability for code rooms for my dates. By cutting things short a day, I managed to get almost what I wanted.
