So Thankful for this Board

Our last several trips to Disneyland have been full of several "off the beaten path" adventures because of this forum. I have been blessed with a trip to Club 33 because of this forum. I have hardly waited in lines and always have gotten to do what I want to get done because of this forum. Even if I don't post often, I'm always absorbing the tips for a great trip.

An acquaintance of mine recently came back from their first family trip to Disney. They only did two days in late June. She said that they hardly saw anything, spent hours just wandering around, getting distracted, and standing in long lines. They didn't know about the fast pass system. She knew that we were big Disneyphiles and regrets not asking my advice.

She just reminded me that if it wasnt for this board, our trips wouldnt be the completely magical trips they are. Thanks!!

I'm so glad you posted this, I also am so Thankful for these boards. As well as I know Disney, I always learn so many new things on here.

Thanks for posting! These boards really make DLR trips a low-stress experience for a lot of people. It's easy to forget how many more people are reading these threads than just the active posters.

I have also seen many friends and family members come back tired and frustrated from DLR recently. I try to offer advice in advance, but they usually say they're just going to go with the flow and have fun (which is contradictory for the most part). Then afterwards, they just don't want to talk about it.

Since I first joined DIS, I've saved a fortune, learned all kinds of things I wouldn't have known about, found a great friend in my hometown that I met through this forum and together we have met a couple of other DISers and formed this Disbuddy circle! I've been able to meet other Dis-ers and participate in some fun events, and I made a fantastic friend who has gotten me into Club 33, Walt's apartment, 1901, and arranged lunches with some Disney legends. The best part out of all of those things is that I have made the best friends ever!!! We have this common interest that leads us into some fabulous adventures, from Dapper Day dress-up to studio tours to visiting Walt's grave and sitting at his favorite table in his favorite restaurant. Oh, and we all stayed in the Fairytale Suite once I would never have done or even known about many of those things had it not been for the friends I've met through DIS.
