So tell me about Tonga Toast!

Assuming that it is the same Tonga Toast I had at the Poly - one word comes to mind. WOW!. All toast is not created equal. It is two slices of thick french toast with bananas in the middle that is deep fried and coated with cinnamon sugar and more than enough food for a full grown adult human being. It's the kind of thing that you eat when you first get there and then right before you leave so you get your fix and head home. Buon appetito.

I don't think the Tonga Toast at Rainforest Cafe is the same Tonga Toast that's served at the Poly.

NO NO NO!!! TONGA TOAST is a Poly favorite. I have no idea why RFC would try to rip that off. Go to KONA and get the Tonga Toast. Then go back again the next day!! It is THAT good!

Your kidding me. I made ADR's at RFC just for that reason.

Kona cafe, where is that located? Do I need ADR's?

Thanks everyone for the responses. Im going to have to do some more searchin.:thumbsup2

Kona is at the Polynesian and it definitely would not hurt to get ADRs, even for breakfast. It can get pretty busy there. Enjoy your Tonga Toast, and let us know if you liked it!

I have never tried TT at RFC. I did not know they even served it.
Kona Cafe (at the Polynesian) has the TT everyone knows.
They also serve a TT in the Poly counter service area (Captain Cook's? :confused3 ) However TT is much better in Kona Cafe. (The difference of a chef and a short order cook.)
And yes, get an ADR. Kona is a good place to eat. You will not be disappointed. :thumbsup2

Kona has the most amazing tonga toast and they now serve it with a side of strawberry sauce like the strawberry soup at 1900 PF YUM!

Kona Cafe is at the Polynesian but you can also get it at their counter service restaurant on the first floor around the corner from the gift shop. I had it for the first time in December after talking to the guy in the Palisades Mall Thomas Kinkade gallery who told me it was not to be missed and he was right. We took the monorail over from the MK one morning. It is definitely not something I could eat two days in a row. I plan to go back for my fix in April.

I had the Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's (CS at Poly)-it IS as good as everyone says. ;)
