You should have seen me......I saw that UPS man coming from a mile away. :yay: I had the door open, ready, waiting & all set to sign for our package delivery.

Oh that's beautiful! Did you book directly through WDTC? Or can I even HOPE to expect something like that in late August/early September?

I actually booked thru Costco Travel. :goodvibes IIRC, we made the actual online booking w/deposit a couple months ago (I'm thinking it was early March). Then I paid the remaining balance last week & they said the packet would be delivered around the first week of June.

The CS that I had thru Costco has been great. We are staying at the Grand CA & even changed to add an extra day after I booked the trip. When I called to make the final payment, the CS rep was so helpful & asked tons of questions to make sure we had made our meal reservations, she asked if we were celebrating anything special, she gave recommendations on "must do" stuff w/our 2 little ones & just in general seemed to go out of the way to make sure everything was a-okay :thumbsup2 I even got a recorded phone call from UPS the night before delivery confirming that they would be coming by our house the following day & that the package would require a signature. :cool1:

So far the prep & planning has been fun (well, except for the bill that will be coming on my Visa card :scared1: :rotfl2: ) I'm hoping the actual trip will be just as fun too!!

OK you are my new favorite person ever. :) We booked through Costco as well (not the biggest surprise since I see you're in Seattle and we're in Tacoma, lol).

We changed hotels and dropped the dining plan so I got to call their CS too, and by accident ended up with a supervisor down there at Disney...even though they, by their given info, could have charged up to $50 for the two changes we made, he waived it, which was SO nice of him!

I keep thinking about changing back (we were booked at PP, now we're at Carousel, but I keep thinking of those extra EE days with the resort...), but who's to say I'd get the same lovely experience? :)

Although I DO believe you, it's almost impossible to believe that UPS actually calls ahead of time! I've worked with UPS from the business side (at amazon) before, and they were so incredibly useless...so the fact that they'll call for disney must mean Disney has some SERIOUS pull with them! :upsidedow
