Taking our daughter to Disney (she’s going to be 40 lol) in January for 10 nights
right now , she , we, are torn between Polynesian Club level / Wilderness lodge Club level/ Boardwalk Club level
We love love them all …but we’re stuck ….

Haven’t been in 3 years and would very much appreciate any thoughts , opinions?

For 10 I’d split it BWI/WL. WL>Poly because Poly is kid crazy for an adult trip.

When I have trouble deciding, I try to answer the following questions:

Which park(s) will I spend the most time in?

Are there specific themes or amenities that will make my trip feel extra special?

Are there any forms of transportation that I prefer or dislike?

For example, I spend more time in Epcot than the other parks, so something in the Epcot resorts area is usually at the top of my list. If I am spending more time at Epcot and MK, Poly is a great choice because of the proximity of the TTC. If I plan to spend more time relaxing at the resort, WL is a top pick for me (I have even stayed there without going to the parks at all).

Take the time to think about what you plan to do for this particular trip. You can’t really go wrong with any of those choices.

I agree with PP. With 10 nights I would do a MK/EP resort split. For maximum park convenience, I would split Poly/BWI.

You’ll want to look for the thread on Poly club level lately. Many folks have had rough experiences there. I would split Boardwalk and Wilderness as long as you are planning to do all four parks.

IMO you definitely want to split if you can. That many nights of any CL (or resort for that matter) can get long in the tooth fast.

I could make a good case for either a Poly/BWI split or WL/BWI split but really depends on your personal preferences. WL CL is going to be the better “adult” experience from a strictly CL perspective whereas Poly CL is more fun/in the middle of all the MK action, quick monorail access to other resorts/amenities, but has a much larger guest count and often kid heavy. Poly’s rooms are larger/more livable for multiple adults than WL, in my opinion, but that’s slicing it a little thin so probably wouldn’t be my overall deciding factor.

Agreed… I didn’t love the Poly but I guess interested to see how it looks now…I’m not a fan of split stays though I get the logistics of it

Three adults in one hotel room is a no-go for me so my vote is to ditch CL in favor of a 1 or 2 bedroom villa at any of those choices

Well whatever, just have BWI as one of those. CL is great there and location is the best. Of the 3 I've only done BWI and WL CL and both were fantastic. The bussing at WL was not great to Epcot and HS but if also doing BW that's no biggie. Lot of bad talk on Poly CL lately although that resort looks good. Personally, I'd do BWI CL then go to Poly non CL and use extra money for fantastic food and such OR would do BWI CL and one of the other two monorail resorts CL

If I had to be somewhere for 10 days, I think I would lean BWI CL for the home base vs your other options.

Yacht club vs Boardwalk ? I’ve watched so many YouTube videos and those seem to be close contenders? We have stayed at both , ages ago.. boardlwalk was the last Disney stay in 2019. Yacht club was years prior..

Im pretty sure we won’t do a split stay but settle into one resort

Oh, with 10 nights I'd go for a split stay. I'd personally go Boardwalk and then choose between WL and Poly. For me it's about ease of transportation to the parks. A few years back we did a split stay between Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge and I thought it was a great combo. Boardwalk is a little busier, and you've got walking access to both HS and Epcot. Then we transferred to Wilderness Lodge, which felt so quiet and peaceful after the hubbub at the Boardwalk, and we had the boat to MK. If you did Poly instead of WL, you'd have a boat to MK as well as the Monorail over to Epcot/MK, so really it's just a preference on theming there. As far as transferring resorts, it couldn't get any easier. Almost all our stays are split stays these days, because it's just such a non-issue. Just call bell services, they come get your bags and you tell them where you're headed. They move your bags, you go to the park and pick the bags up at the new resort when your room is ready.
