It's been a 15 year absence, but I am finally getting back to WDW. This time I am getting to take my husband and 2 kids with me for their first trip. I can't wait to share this with them. I have such wonderful memories from our trips as a kid. My mom reminded me today that our first trip in 1981 for 5 days in the Contemporary cost $500. We're a year out from our trip, but when DH gave the go ahead, it was like Christmas morning.

I'm so happy for you :goodvibes
You are going to make so many wonderful family memories pixiedust:

I still remember the first time we took our two girls and now they're 18 and 26 boy do I feel old :rotfl:

How Awesome!!!:cool1: My family and I went on our first Disney trip March of 2012. I had not been to Disney since 1985 when I went with my grandparents. I began planning our trip in November 2010 and when we finally arrived in March '12 all the planning was so worth it all. I have to admit I cried at my family's expression the first time we stood in front of Cinderella's castle and watched a show ( I caught them on camera - my DH and DSs were all smiles). I am SOOOOOO looking forward to our 2nd trip next March. Have fun planning and I wish you all a truly magical trip:wizard:
