I have to post this and I figured this was the most appropriate forum.

We're in the process of moving and packing all of our things. We have a nice collection of WDCC figures. Our favorite one, A Whole New World (b/c it was our wedding song) just broke.

My DH is taking it much harder than I am - that is until I went to see how much it costs to replace it. Easily over $500. I guess I'll have to save up my $$$ and surprise him...our 5 year anniversary is June 25, 2005. I'll see what I can do.

How awful for you!!

You may be able to get it fixed.

I know there are places you can get it repaired. My sister went to our local gift shop and they sent it somewhere for her.

Check with a gift store that sells WDCC or call the WDAC.

Thanks for the info. I will call tomorrow. I tried to save all the pieces. Some of it just shattered. Jasmines ponytail broke off and part of the carpet got smashes into pieces. But it's worth calling to see if it can be repaired! Thanks for the hope!

I seem to remember a place in MA that was the official repair place for the WDCC. Not sure if they are still "official" or not.

Please let us know how you make out. I have one that broke during my move and have wondered if it's worth repairing.

That's the place the gift shop sent my sister's piece to. I can't even tell it's been repaired unless I inspect it closely!!
