and not part of the spoon is in the icing! Ugh. I should have just stayed in bed. I do have a sore throat and cold.
Well, the gingerbread came out good at least. NOw I'm making snickerdoodles.

Sounds like my brother-in-law. He made caramel apples one time, and he was stirring the hot caramel with a rubber spatula. Problem was, the spatula wasn't the heat resistant kind and it starting melting into the caramel... yuck!
