I'm planning a trip to Disney for 2006. My first idea was to go February 11-17. Then I thought maybe I should go in May since DS will be a little older then (he'll be one in February) and it would be a little warmer. I also hate using a week of vacation so early in the year (I still only get two weeks right now!). No matter which time we choose we are staying at the Yacht or Beach Club.

Everyone -- please tell me the pros/cons of going in February vs. May. Tell me also what might be the differences traveling with a 12 month old vs. 15 month old. (yes, this is my first child and this will be his first real vacation!) Thanks!

I have never been in May but I have in February several times. The parks are less crowded and the weather has always been beautiful. Either age you are looking at a stroller any way. Here is my vote for Feb. :sunny:

I've been in Feb. Not crowded. Will get more bang for the buck. Lines non-existent or short. Can still do the baby exchange. The weather was just a little cool early, but warmed up nicely by 10:30 (shorts and short sleeves). :sunny: Might be a little cool for the pools.

feb. i would think may could be too warm. we went first week of october and ds was really hot most days which makes him more crabby. Our next trip will be in the winter. i have been in february and the weather was very nice, not hot, not cold.
