Well I think I shall throw in the towel! We rented points for Old Key West last year and enjoyed it so much. GCV is just not meant to be! Thanks for checking. We would have loved the 2 bedroom, but I just don't think it's in the cards this year. I will have to make myself pull up costco travel and just go with Sheraton Park!!!!

I should have gotten her to book the 2 BR from the 12th - 16th and stayed at the Sheraton and then moved. Hindsight!!!!!!

Or the easiest way would be to find someone who is renting points who owns at GCV. You can book those at 11 months out. OKW is pretty easy to get into most times of the year, so you can't really compare. Another option is to find someone renting who is willing to walk your reservation. That requires more work on the owners part, so they may ask more for their points if that is required.
