younger dd takes enrichment classes om saturday mornings.


this semester she took chemistry, mystery writing and internet law.


today was the last seesion of the program, and the parents were invited to observe the class. internet law did a mock trial. dd gave the opening statement for the defense, and she was perfect. she nailed all the First Amendment issues.

and when she was playing a witness, she really acted the part, charmed her teacher and made everyone laugh.

though I must admit it's hard to watch kids at mock trial and not jump up to object to a bad question or suggest what should be asked on direct or cross.
