Isn't it great???? I can't tell you how many times it's happened to me, that family thinks I'm crazy with my planning, and then turn to me when it's actually time to go. This year I have the ultimate challenge....I'm taking my DM, who is as contrary and scattered as anyone I have ever met! Trying to get her to follow my plans for ANYTHING has always been ridiculous, but this??? I think I'll probably have a mutiny on my hands this year! Have my DH, DD16, and DS14 perfectly trained already...but her? If anyone has any suggestions for an obstinate mother, send them my way.

Shhhhhhhhhhhh,let's not let all the secrets out...we like friends like ArielWB because they make alot of our planning work! I like to plan,whether it's my vacation or someone elses...why do ya think I've been a Mod on the Dis for 6yrs.now ?!?

ArielWB...I too thought she lost or messed up your binder! TG the binder is okay! I'd of gotten my fairy wand after her...my wooden spoon...for ya!


I use to be a commando WDW visitor but slowed way down.I usually pick which park what day and maybe a few PS.We go alot and know what we like but we always seem to do something new each trip.


GoofyDisney...Glad your SIL has caught the magic...that is the greatest feeling when non believers come over to the bright side!!

It is the one where a family went to Disney World for a week and spent the entire week at the Magic Kingdom thinking that was all there is to Disney World.

A mother of one of Erich's school friend's did this last summer although it was for 4 days!!! I'm not exactly sure how but she and I have plans to sit down soon. I'm helping her with her next trip in Oct.I already have a Birnbaum's guide ,I picked up at the used book store,to help her figure out what her kids(her parents are going on this trip too) would like to see.I've also run some stuff off for her from here of course!!(She isn't online) I don't think she understands how WDW is this "land" unto it's own...Oh I can't wait to teach her!!!
