That place is gorgeous. Great photos!
As for the edge thing? Not me, not in a million years. You guys are brave!

i got teased cause i wouldn't hop the ravine in this one spot. haha. my friends are hardcore.

I would be scared out of my mind. haha, I am deathly afraid of heights[I started freaking out on the alladin ride when my mom put us all the way up. It was sad.....] Anywayssss, that scenery is absolutly breathtaking and I am very jealous that I don't live in a pretty place like that.

What do you mean "hop the ravine"?
I'm not necessarily afraid of heights, just edges at a high elevation. Does that make sense?

We went to Killington, Vermont one winter for a ski vacation. The highest elevation is 4,241 feet, and they have a resteraunt up there that peaks out over the edge. It's litterally on stilts! We got a hot chocolate, and went out to the observation area (the on stilts area). OH MY! I thought that was horrendous. Then we went out on the trails that are at the top. I looked over the edge and said "Dad, I think I have to use the bathroom".

i mean jump across the gap between the mountain and the rock structure we're standing on. its like 2-5 feet across depending on where you're standing, but the part where we were was about 3.5 from sound surface to sound surface. the gap descends all the way from the top of the mountain (where we were) to the flat ground at the bottom. probably a thousand feet in some places. it was safe to hop, but i walked around instead because i wasn't sure about my footing and i was the last to cross.

Thats AMAZING shelby.
Absolutely beautiful.

It makes me sad that I didnt take many pictures when bushwhacked up a mountain, but by far, this is more beautiful. There were no stones that made it interesting. It was pretty much..trees and bushes.

Absolutely stunning.

Brilliant photos!

I, too, am impresed with how brave y'all are. I can't even handle Stone Mountain! My BFF tried to get my in the "goat trail" and I wouldn't do it xD.

That's so pretty!!! I wanna go!!!

It reminds me of Cathedral Ledge.

tennessee is just so gorgeous!! I'm always jealous of all the greenery. I want grass and trees.
