So Olaf is finally going to show up

We got to meet Olaf on Castaway Cay. He was so cute!

We were able to get our picture with Olaf at Disneyland this past summer! He was teasing my DS!

Do we know if this is going to be a permanent M&G? My kids LOVE Olaf, but we aren't going to Disney again until March 2017. Hopefully he will still be meeting then! Fingers crossed! Also hoping that Sadness and Joy will be there for a long duration because my oldest LOVES that movie, lol

They are no longer coming to Epcot. Sorry. Though maybe that will change in the next year.

Where did you see that Joy and Sadness are not coming to Epcot? Last I saw, they had their M&G area all ready to go but no exact date was announced yet.

I wonder if this means they'll be switching from the Star Wars fireworks back to Frozen fireworks for the summer.

They are. They no longer have waits of hours. You can find FP after 60 days, often even at 30 days.
We went during EMH in December, just as the Christmas crowds were peaking and they had no wait at all but Cinderella and Rapunzel had a 15 min wait.

Olaf will be hugely popular at WDW. But his popularity has also dropped at DCA. We went in June and while they made you pull a FP for him they were for just a short while in the future. There was little wait for him. I think they have even dropped the FP for him since our trip. I realize DCA is different demographic but it just shows that all the Frozen things have peaked.

We found him when we were there in the beginning of October and pleasantly surprised that the line was so short.

We were there this past week and the wait for Anna and Elsa was never more than 40 minutes and this was during a very busy week. I think the over saturation of them has finally had its impact - thankfully.

Hopefully olaf m&g will be ready by mid May ! My daughter will be so excited. They really need other things to keep people attracted to hs during construction. This will be a big plus for the kiddos !
