So much for going to DL tomorrow. Ugh I'm so mad!

My husband has decided he wants to go and he can't tomorrow because he has "work" to do. He could EASILY blow it off. He says Wednesday is his work day and I wanted to go on a Wednesday so now that won't happen. Plus now if we go another day we won't get there for rope drop like I wanted because he won't get out of bed in time. He's not a DL guy. He's impatient and doesn't like crowds. Everything will have to be his way which I always go along with. To be perfectly honest and I know it sounds bad but I don't want to go with him. I was so excited to surprise my daughter.

That's too bad. Wednesdays generally shouldn't be too crowded, right? So you'd think he would want to go on a Wed. Especially if you are there as soon as it opens, that is the best time! I hope you can talk him into it! Good luck!

My husband doesn't enjoy DL either, so I go without him and just with my kids except for maybe once or twice a year. I also go by myself sometimes. It is much more relaxing to not have to worry about how grumpy he might get by being there. I'm sorry that you have this problem.

I'm on the lucky end and will count my blessings again since my husband can't get enough, thank you for reminding me of that!

Thank you guys for the replies. Biola I'm glad I'm not the only one.

He's got a very weird kidney condition and has been passing kidney stones 2-3 times a month for the past 4 years. So I know he'll just be grumpy although he would've been grumpy anyway without the stones. I wanted to go to just concentrate on Maggie. Go to PFF, ride ALL the Fantasyland rides, actually stake out a spot and watch the parade. Those are all her favorite things. Oh well.

I am going this year without my husband. He doesnt like disneyland either. Everytime I go with the kids we have a blast.
