DD has decided to "sleep" in this morning, and I really hate waking her up... then I have to deal with Cranky - the missing 8th dwarf!

Martha ... You are soooooo cool :cool1:

Be careful ......
Cranky won't smile in any of your pictures anymore ...:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

BTW.... I look forward to viewing your daily photo's...."Great Pictures"! :thumbsup2
How wonderful to be right in the middle of the "Magic" ...all the time!!
Certainly makes my day!! :cloud9:

And Thanks for the "new" parade photo's with the globes gone and the winter golf course that I need to visit!!

Have a great day!!

Thanks for the compliment. I do love taking pics!

I think we will just stay close to home today - maybe a trip to DTD - I need to renew our APs and p/u MVMCP tickets (for our 2nd party!). Since she didn't get up - I lost my motivation! We had ADRs at 1900 Park Fare next Saturday - so MK will have to wait until then!

Maybe I will get some things done around the house or continue to work on organizing my photos.... it's almost a full time job!

Have a great day!

Doesn't it spoil the experience being so close all the time?

If there's no build up then there'd be no excitement for us! (Well not literally, I dare say we'd get excited once we got there :rotfl: )

No actually not... I am a much more spontaneous person.... always things like things planned too much don't work out or fail to meet expectations! I do my share of planning for our day trips, special events, when we have visitors, etc - there's lots of anticipation going on for the upcoming holiday season.... After three years of almost weekly visits to one part or another of WDW - the magic is not gone! I had only visited WDW once 3 months prior to re-locating here.... so I still have lots of years of Magic to make up for!

I love going to the parks, especially the spur of the moment, middle of the afternoon, early evening visits! Wednesday schools were closed, I was sitting in my office (at home) working and DD was just bored, so I shut off my computer and we headed to Magic Kingdom.... called for dinner ADRs on they way, and we had ONE of the best ever days at the park!

Today I was really was wanting to go, but DD is just not into it..... we've been on property 4 times in the last week (mini golf, mini golf, MK w/dinner at LTT, lunch at Chef Mickey and MK)..... we probably will head to DTD later for a movie...or who knows we may change our mind and go to MK after the afternoon showers that are sure to come pass!

I think I need to relocate near you. That sounds so cool to just pick up and go whenever. My son slept long today too---12 1/2 hours!!! Unfortunately we weren't planning a trip for today though. Have a good day whatever you do!

That sounds pretty awesome :goodvibes

I bet every day's one big vacation for you!!

Well, I DO have to work during the week.. but it's nice to know that at 5pm we can hop in the car for an evening if we want... it's harder now that DD is back in school, between homework and having to get up at 6:45!

I think that is why she is being lazy today... they've been back in school for a month now, and we've been running all weekend.....

I on the other hand sit her Dising and shopping at Disneyshopping.com - planning ahead and ordered Zazzle T-shirts for MNSSHP!

That's great that you live so close and can go whenever you want. Hopefully when I finish school I can move down here (btw, I love your pictures).

Thanks! I enjoy your "insider" insight as well!!! How much longer do you have on the CP?

ETA OOPS - I see that you are here until January.... Good luck with everything!

So no character report from you today ..... boo hoo!! :teeth: I still got almost four weeks until my next trip! :faint: Must be nice to be local!

Thanks a lot. And I am really looking forward to the holiday parties. I have heard that good characters can be found there. Is this true?

OMG - I was just THINKING that I hadn't "seen" you for a few days.

No character reports today, but we did add one to our collection on Saturday - Wendell from Country Bears - just as he walked out to start meeting! He walked up to Tara and tapped her on the head and gave he a big hug before we knew what was happening. It was good timing, as I had realized moments before that I (yes Me - Mom -:guilty: not Tara) had left her bag of trading pins on the monorail.... about 25 pins..... and she was at the point where she was having trouble trading any of them because she liked them all so much..... I wanted to CRY  :sad1: She was very sad!

We (I) left it in the front of the yellow monorail and had high hopes that the operator found it before anyone else got in - I even remembered his name... I never pay attention to their names.... but to no avail. I've called Lost & Found the past two mornings and no pins!

It makes me sad that someone at a place like Disney would not turn something like that in.... it was obvious that it was a collection (in a pin trading bag) and in most cases you think of kids having something like that..... I just hope whoever has it feels some sense of guilt whenever they look at them!!! It's not about the cost of the pins at all - it's a sentimental thing -

Needless to say, I've been on EBAY trying to replace some of them - but have found only one identical pin.... I had ordered a big lot from EBAY a day or so before so she could use those to trade and keep her favorites at home with the rest of our special/no trading allowed pins!

I have paid dearly this weekend to make up for my "BAD" - Heely's, Cinderella Castle Playset, two game bay games...... can you tell I feel SOOO GUILTY!

That's what I have heard... from my friend HugsforEeyore (and others) Tara and I were not so much into character hunting the past three years .... she was more about the rides and trick or treating! at Halloween This year - I'm all about the characters - she can ride and I'll go hunting!

I have purchase MVMCP tickets for two nights this year, early in the month when my Dsis visits (it's tradition) and for 12/18 so we can attend with a Dis family from UK that we have been corresponding with after we realized we are dining at CP on Christmas morning at the same time... so now Tara has two pen pals and so do I!!! I hope to spend lots of time looking for characters... if they all want to ride - I will catch up with them!

Very cool. I am already going to one halloween party and probably will go to another one. And I plan on going to the Christmas party as well. In fact, I am working the party next Friday.

Hey!! :wave2: I personally think that MNSSHP is the best character event of the year - can't wait! I just hope there will be some characters there that I don't have! I think MNSSHP is FAR better a character event than MVMCP, as I didn't get one single new character there (unless you count Santa Claus, but he is out at other times besides the parties). I have tickets to 2 MNSSHP's so I will have time to cover all ground! :)

Joanna71985 - I got to look for you on my next trip! A character attendent - WOW! :cloud9:

Good to know that Halloween is better...but if the characters have holiday outfits on - that counts for me as something new... I love having all the different wardrobe changes!!!

Sue, what nights are you doing MNSSHP? I could probably "TWIST" Tara's arm to go to two again this year.... I might as well spend some more money on special events and meals!!!!!

Hey!!!

I have tickets to the parties on September 29th and October 2nd!! But my problem is I can't miss much work and I don't fly! So I am only there 3-4 days total for a VERY quick trip, and if there are any tropical systems delaying me getting there, then my whole trip will be cancelled. :( I got hit by Wilma last year, and I just hope nothing like that happens again! But right now, I am hoping to be there for both parties!! :cloud9:

I am also going for Jersey Week November 6-12, as according to the DISboards, everyone from my state goes, so I better be there, too! I actually am going to the first MVMCP on that trip, which I only just realized a couple of weeks ago that I could squeeze it in! :)

I am anxiously waiting for some CMs to start giving character hints about what characters will be there! PM me if you think you and Tara may be at one!!

I hope to see you at Jersey Week, and both of you at the parties. I actually am working the one on Sept. 15. So that should be fun.
