UGH. I feel like a truck hit me. Started Friday with fever and some very unpleasant stomach ailments....yesterday still had fever, but tummy was better. Today fever is gone too, but I am SO weak. Hoping to make it to work tomorrow...our holiday luncheon is tomorrow, although I think I'll still be eating plain stuff.

luvwinnie,

Sorry to hear that. Drink lots of juice and other liquids and get lots of rest today. Don't even worry about the decorations. Those can always be put up later.

Thanks...wish I had some vacation time coming to decorate and bake.

SOunds like Norwalk--hits you hard and fast. The good news is that if that is what it is, by tomorrow you'll never even know you were sick!

We've got it here too - myself, DD and granddaughter..

Today everyone is feeling somewhat better and hoping to get the tree decorated.. No baking though - that will have to wait - and I did my shopping on eBay and a couple of other sites.. ;)

Me,too. Only I don't think it's a virus. :guilty: I think it's Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Every now & then when the stress gets high it kicks into to full IBS-mode and lays me out for a few days.Thankfully, I'm not throwing up, but my descending colon is totally inflamed. Bleah! Trying to lay low and drink fluids--of course, i'm scheduled to work 16 hours this weekend.

Hope everyone else feels better! I hate that shaky/sweaty/weak feeling when you are recuperating.

DD, DS, and I have all had it within 2 weeks. I didn't have it too bad. Vomiting takes so much out of you physically that it takes a few days to get your strength back. I think DH is coming down with it...he had fever/chills yesterday and just chilly today with some poopies. Hopefully it doesn't hit him hard. You can wipe down everything and spray Lysol all you want but it is airborne. If there are others in the house, they are bound to get it. Good luck to whoever it hits and stay hydrated. Follow the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) once all symptoms subside.
