So many Questions!!

Ok I have booked the Polynesian Conceirge for Dec. 9 - 15. I am very excited. I think the code rates were awesome. I am an AP holder so I will check those rates come Sun.

We are Me DH DS 13 DS 11 and 2 Yo twins.

We stayed at POR last time and we liked it. We do rent a car so Im not really concerned about the buses but I thought staying on the Monorail would be fun.

But there are such good rates for other resorts like OKW and BW also the Contp. What opinions do you have.

The Poly is great for kids. We (me, DW, DS6, DS4) were there in May and loved it. All the resorts are great, but we really loved the Poly for it's theming and convenience. We also stayed concierge and found it to be well worth the money. We ate all our breakfasts there and some of our evening meals (after having a larger meal at lunch). We took a tray and went down by the pool to eat. We found that we actually saved money by doing concierge. You will love it. Don't change.

I am looking forward to the food, I think my kids will enjoy that. My DH and dont usually eat breakfast but the kids eat the second their feet hit the floor so vacation breakfasts cost us more than we like to spend n that meal.

Im curious about where you stayed and did you request a specific room or area.

We stayed on the third floor, lagoon view. We loved it. We did request specific rooms based on recommendations on Tikiman's web site (http://tikiman2001.homestead.com). We were near the end of the hall (Room 3518, I think). All of the rooms are convenient to the lounge though. My kids loved running down to the lounge for a snack. It was really great.

The monorail will be a big help with the kids. Our DD was 2 1/2 last September and we got a good rate at the Polynesian. It was so easy to just wheel her on in the stroller, especially at night, when she was tired.

We also had a third floor room. I loved sitting on the balcony.

The hotel was beautiful and we had a great time there. I would love to go back there someday. I am hoping for a big anniversary.

TINKTWINS:...you will love being on a monorail hotel...nothing in wdw beats it and i know some will say epcot resort/bw area is better but i dont think so...just my op...we are not "poly fans" (duck & cover around here)...but i am sure you will love it...going from por to the poly is like having a tooth pulled w/out being medicated vs being medicated...you have made a fine choice and with the codes it is well worth the few extra $$$...although i prefer the gf have fun!

As much as I love the Polynesian.....it may be a little cramped with 2 adults and 4 kids. I think there would be a lot more room at OKW or a cabin at FW.
