How's our plan so far? Any suggestions or changes you would make? We have tried to schedule around the park we will be at during the day except for Tuesday, as we will be at AK that day and will have to travel to Poly for the show.

Mon MK Liberty Tree Tavern
Tue AK Aloha Dinner Show
Wed MGM 50's Prime Time
Thur 1900 Park Fare Breakfast (DW's Favorite!!!!)
Thur Chef Mickey's Dinner

On Thursday, we are planning on just lounging around the Pool so we are going to do both a breakfast and a dinner TS that day.

So that leave us with one more TS and 2 days, Friday and Saturday. On Friday, we are going to Epcot and Saturday is our last day so we will let the kids pick where they want to go (maybe even hop from park to park)

So I am looking for the best place to eat at Epcot on Friday evening. Right now we are trying to decide between Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, Chefs de France, or the Garden Grill. What would you pick?

Or should we not worry about being limited to Epcot as we could always shedule something for Saturday?

Thanks

Le Cellier is my vote. I have eaten there twice and it was excellent. I don't even like steak that much, but the rest of my family loved their filets. I ate all seafood both times and it was great.

I've also eaten at Chefs de France. I enjoyed this too. I think it was our last night so my family just thought it was "OK". But, I think they were just full from gorging for a week. Between the two, I also think Le Cellier is better for kids.

If you are going to Disney you MUST try Le Cellier. One of the best!

Le Cellier is the best at Epcot! Hand's down the best. If you can get that ressie make it. Even if you have to change later. It is really hard to get.

My suggestion is to skip LTT at MK. Although you get to see "good" characters, the food is just Stouffers-in-the-frozen-section-at-your-local- grocer food. I would recommend taking the boat to WL and eating at Whispering Canyon. Awesome food and great atmosphere. Nice little excursion from the park.

Enjoy and keep us posted on your final plans.

I know a lot of people on here say to avoid LTT but if it were up to my DH, he would eat there every night of the trip. He loves the food and could care less for the characters.

He is very much a meat and potatoes man! I liked LTT too, didn't LOVE LTT but definitely would go back again.

Whispering Canyon is also good and gets better reviews on here than LTT.

I think you'll find a lot of votes fo Le Cellier, and you most certainly will not go wrong there. I've eaten there every trip and I am never disappointed. The food is always wonderful, and the service I've had has always been very prompt and attentive. The atmosphere isn't the most exciting or creative of all Disney resturants, but it does provide a nice dining experience. If you are a steak fan, this is definatly your best option for a TS meal.

Another resturant to consider is Rose and Crown. We tried this one on our last trip and was very pleasently surprised. The food was great, portions were large, service was friendly, helpful and very attentive. They have a great drink selection, and the atmosphere is so convincing, that if you use your imagination, you might just think you were in a pub in England. Also, they have seating in an outside patio area which lends itself to one of the best views for Illuminations in all the park. If you can make your ADR far enough in advance to snag one of these seats at a 8:00 reservation, then you really should, you won't be disappointed with the food, or the view. (note: you can't actually reserve and outside seat, specifically, but you can request one. These are highly coveted seats, so if you don't get one, you can still walk out onto the patio to watch the show. Even that beats anywhere else outside the resturant you might see it from).

As far as Chefs de France, I wouldn't bother. It's not that I don't like French cuisine, it's just I was unimpressed. The resturant was lovely, but felt very cramped. Our waitress was nice, she suffered through us trying to order in french, but the food overall was very unimpressive.

And for Garden Grill, it's been a while since I've been there, but there isnt much to it. It's sort of an all you can eat affair, with Chip and Dale and other characters coming to disturb you while eating. The food is pretty standard, nothing special. The two neat things about this resturant is that the veggies served are all grown on property at the green houses you see in the ride, Living with the Land, and that the resturant itself slowly revolves, so that your scenary is always changing. But, if you have kids with you, this may be your best option.

My husband really wanted to do the Luau until I started finding some really bad reviews. You might want to do a search before using 2 dining credits. I have also seen that in 2007 you won't get up front seating with the dining plan. That is too bad. We saw the HOOP DEE DOO REVEUE up front and center and it was amazing. I've seen it from the balcany and it doesn't compare. Have a great trip!!!:woohoo:

I would agree. We didn't love the luau when we went.

Le Cellier was one of my favorite meals last week (the best was Jiko!). Also, the food at Prime Time Cafe was excellent. I had the pot roast, DH the salmon salad, DM the fried chicken and DF had the pot roast too. It was all really good! Oh, tried the fried cheese for the app - yummy!

I think our kidlets had hot dogs - I guess you can't really mess those up!

Have fun and be prepared to be stuffed your entire trip!

P.S. We did the Hoop-Dee-Doo and it was a blast! We were up front and center and it was great! The food was really, really good. Even the salad was excellent!

I have to agree with a few things posted here.

You will love LeCellier - if you can get an ADR.

We disliked the food very much at the Luau, but the show was good.

Also, we LOVED LTT. I thought it had the BEST character interaction and I enjoyed the food - kind of reminded me of Thanksgiving or Easter.

Good luck deciding!
