Maybe it was just us but....we got to TT for our very first attraction. A nice man gave us 5 FP's since he couldn't use them. Well, of course TT stopped 4 times while we waited. The final time was when we were in the car, but at least we hadn't left the start yet!! Then, we tried to do RnRC first thing on Sat morning. Nope, not happening. We got FP's for it and hoped to ride it standby and then again with FP. It didn't open for quite awhile. Seemed there was a problem. So, we did it much later in the morning.

Next day we are on Spaceship EArth. Yep, it shut down. Then TT again and it had a slight delay, but nothing major. The biggie came on BTMRR. We were on our first ride of our trip. We were heading up the hill with the falling boulders. The cars stopped dead in their tracks!! We waited. A nice CM came out through the wall and asked if we were all okay. We were. He said to stay in our seats, and he would be back. He came back about 5 minutes later with another CM. They emptied our cars, row by row, front to back. Then off we trekked. No photos were allowed when we 'went through the wall' at the bottom. Under the mt. we went and came out by the Bat Cave. Pretty cool all in all. Dd was really interested in the workings below. We were given passes to ride later on.

Then Space Mt. went down for awhile. We were returning for our FP time and had to come back later. I think that we had a total of about 9 different times an attraction had a problem during our stay. It got to be a huge joke. We told people not to get in line behind us since we seemed to jinx the attractions. But, we had a wonderful time. Anyone else have so many breakdown's???

Spaceship Earth stops the cars when they need to load handicapped persons. We were on it once when it stopped 7 times.

Space Mountain looks like those old time metal rollercoasters on the boardwalk at Wildwood, NJ.

That happened to us last May!! :earboy2: Everything broke when we were on it! Test Track, Haunted Mansion, BTMRR (we couldn't even get on). Splash went down, Pirates..... You name it, it malfunctioned on our trip. We got a good laugh out of it though!!!

We are official ride jinxers! So if you see us in the parks next week, don't go on the same ride that we are on b/c it will surely break down!

Well Jill, it's a good thing we were there last week and you'll be there next week. Don't think the parks could take all of us at the same time.

As far as what the mountain looked like underneath....looked like someone's basement!!! Not nearly as cool as I thought it would be. What's truly magical is that the outside can be so wonderful and the inside workings so, oh I don't know..maybe utilitarian.

As far as Space Mt. goes...I'm still in shock. It's one of our must do's so to speak. Well, during our little DIS meet in TomorrowLand, I was riding the TTA with Dan Murphy when we got to the SpaceMt. spot, I was surprised at all that I could see. Then as we traveled on a bit, I saw (for the first time!!) plexiglass windows thru which I could get a really good look at the framing for SM!! I was shocked. I've ridden TTA many times and have never seen that much of SM!! Dan wanted to know if I had slept through the other times!!! I do have to say that when we all rode Space together I thought it was much lighter than usual. But, I chalked that up to the fact that I was sitting, for the first time ever, in the very front seat!! I just thought that you could see better there. We won't go into how I really felt about being in that particular seat right now!!!

And I had forgotten about Spaceship EArth stopping for the wheelchair folks.

We were at USF several years ago and they had a complete power failure. The entire park lost power all at once.

Southern Californian and Disneyland AP holder here. Went to DL two Saturdays ago with friends. Matterhorn was down for seasonal rehabs and Space Mountain has been down for a major upgrade for over a year and isn't slated to re-open until this summer. So....we went on BTMRR or, as we call it here at DL, "The Killer Koaster!" Half way up the second lift-hill it stops! We sit there (just like the OP did) until the ride ops come "escort" us down. Interesting, but nothing exciting to tell. So...we go over to Indiana Jones and it's down for the count! So let's see here...MH's down, SM's down, BTMRR's down, IJ's down. That leaves us with Splash Mountain. Small problem - SM line is over an hour and it's maybe 45-50 degrees outside. Getting wet isn't our idea of a good time at this point. At this point we decided to play it safe and take train back to Main St. Thought for sure that the tram would breakdown on the way to the parking structure! It didn't! Ghost of Walt was with us I guess.

Happens on both coasts!!!

On our day in Epcot: the Land broke down while in line, Mission Space while in line, Test Track while in the fast pass line (#$%^&*! 45 min wait with FP), and Spaceship Earth broke down while facing backwards we were stopped for 15 mins.

Oh, and that night the Winnie the Pooh ride @ MK halted for 2-3 minutes near the end of the ride. It was NOT our day!
