So Long... Farewell...

I'll be AWOL for a few days. Tomorrow morning at 10 I'm having my gallbladder removed. I'm pretty nervous, not so much because of this surgery but because the last time I had an operation it was a nightmare. I suppose comparing the removal of your thyroid to that of your gallbladder is silly but I would prefer not to have a repeat of that horror show.

Anyway, all good thoughts are gratefully accepted. God willing, I'll be back on the board in a couple of days.

Hope you have a speedy recovery. Mine was a piece of cake. I was up and walking to the bathroom that same day. Home in 2 days. Pain was quite managable. Shaking the anesthesia was the worst part. I'm sure everything will go just fine!

Lots of pixie dust to you! I had my gall bladder removed and the recovery was OK. Make yourself some jello tonight because you might not be allowed to eat solid foods for a day after the surgery. Take care, and feel better soon!
