Maybe a little late but here is ours:

She is holding up the work "Believe" in red letters.

As you can see, it is meant to be folded over...this is the image as I was preparing the card in iPhoto.

Me and my sister. We don't have a Mac and my mom would rather die than learn how to use a computer, so this is all we send out. Btw, my sister's name is Caitlin. :)

I didn't do cards this year, but if I did, this would be my picture. This is also my favorite gift of the year. My daddy got all of us matching shirts with our family name on them. All us three girls, and all our kids, and in my case, my grandkids. We've never had a full family picture like this and I LOVE it!

Great cards everyone :thumbsup2

Is it a common thing to send out photo cards in the US? Just me being nosey again ;)

I wonder if this happens just in the USA as we have not received one family Christmas card :)

I don't know about everyone on the boards, but pretty much 90% of the cards we got are photo cards. People use Christmas cards as a sort of update for people you do not normally talk to on how the family's doing. It's usually done when a couple has kids (or at least a cat or dog they're particularly proud of). Who knows where the trend will go with the zenith of Facebook.

It's not uncommon. When I get them they are usually from families showing off their young children, or from my sister showing off her furbabies!

We also have this "Christmas letter" thing here. It's a year in review kind of thing that people put in their cards, and another way to brag about how wonderful your kids are :) Do you have that in the UK?

Not as such although DH has two cousins ( one in Australia and the other in Edinburgh) and they do the Christmas letter and lets say they LOVE to brag about their children :lmao:

The photo cards are a cute idea - DH gave me a photo calender this year which has photos of my kids in Disney :lovestruc

I have a friend that commonly refers to those letters as "Brag and Gag's" which is so true because some of them make you want to shake your head in amazement at just how wonderful these people must be. :teeth:
