I have a couple of pair of Clarks flip flop type shoes. Not cheap with loads of support. I wear those, if they get wet it doesn't matter so if you are ever in the park and see a grown woman splashing in the puddles, it's just me cause I can. If it's not warm enough for flip flops, we carry a pair in whatever bag we are carrying, never a big one I can tell you that and change out of our tennis shoes. We also carry an extra pair of socks in those cases. If we are taking tennis shoes on the trip, we always take at least 3 pairs, it takes more than one day for a pair of shoes to dry out in the humidity. I was there the last week in September last year and we had showers every day. There was one day where it pretty much rained on and off all day. I was a happy little woman with my flip flops and rain coat that is like the one the CMs wear. That puppy comes almost down to my feet, buttons almost all the way down, hood has a drawstring and the sleeves have buttons. Nothing wet on me but my little toes.
