I'm thinking that FLORIDA deserves to go. Face it, Michigan fans, the only teams that were a threat this year to MICHIGAN were Notre Dame and Wisconsin. Even though I bleed GREEN for MSU, they were no competition this year for []\/[]. Michigan had a much easier season.

Well DH would like to see Flordia play. But I thought the Ohio/Michigan game was a great game to watch and I would love to see it again.

I think that Florida, because of it's tougher schedule, will definitely rank #2 on the BCS computers, but that's only 1/3 of the equation. It's totally up to the voters now...which is why college sports desperately needs a playoff system with, say, the top 6 teams.

I don't know who I would choose. Florida does have a harder schedule, but I find it hard to choose them since they beat us last night. I wanted Arkansas to win so bad. I don't think my DH has gotten over it yet. No matter who gets to go, I think Ohio State will win.

Also why not Boise State? They have not lost a game and won their conference.

It needs to be the best 2 teams and I think it is Michigan and Ohio State.

But what about strength of schedule? Florida has one more win, and has been more ranked teams and more bowl-bound teams.

They are not being penalized. Michigan had their shot at Ohio St and blew it. If you can't win your conference, you do NOT deserve to be in the BCS Championship game.......end of story.

The reason it won't be Michigan is.... what if Michagan beats Ohio St by a very close margin(3 pts or less) in the BCS game. What gives Michigan the right to be national champs over Ohio St??? They both have 1 loss.....Ohio St won the Big 10.....

Thats why the coaches,sportswriters,etc do NOT want any more controversy than there already is.

Very true! Say they win (you know, let's pretend (GO BUCKS!)). How can you be "National Champion" when you can't win your conference?!

ETA: And furthermore, just as a sidenote, neutral sites are great... but hostile environments/homefield advantage is never an excuse for losing. It's a factor in the game, period. I'm not just saying that becuase the bucks won, but because it's simply a huge part of the game!
