So is Pop Warner week really that bad?

Ah, very good! Hopefully we won't have any problems at Pop. We are only staying Dec. 2-6 so we won't be there on Friday when they close MGM early. The competition starts Dec. 3 so I doubt we will see ANY Pop Warner participants on Dec. 2 at Epcot. I know if I arrived a day early for the competition I wouldn't go to Epcot first! :rotfl:

We have our ADRs all set, we have our MVMCP tickets, and we have APs so if a park is packed to the brim with kids we can always hop.

It is interesting how Disney "requires" a minimum package purchase! I know DS will be missing school, and I imagine the Pop Warner kids are missing school, too! I don't know that I would want to spend the money on a 4 day hopper if my child was going to be in competition most of the time, and going to the parks would mean more days out of school. :confused3 I don't think we would arrive more than one day ahead if we had an assigned day to compete. Hmm.

Another interesting point is on the PW website. If you send a complant to them about a partiular team being very rude that they could be banned for life from playing at WDW again. So you might want to point that out to the teams.
I found the letter that was sent out to all teams at the beginning of the year stating this.

We were there last year and it was a little crowded at the food courts and the parks but not unbareble going again from the nov 30th to Dec 11 YAHOO.

Anyone????????? :confused3

If you can afford it, I would change my reservations to at least a mod. resort. The values are over run with kids (just having fun) so you can expect some problems. Just my opinion. :sunny:
