So I'm writing a book.

I thought it was really good. Like a lot have said, not really my kind of book, but still interesting nevertheless. I might have actually looked at it in the bookstore, which is saying something for me. I myself am working on a quintet. I have most of them planned, but only have about two pages. And it's fantasy.

But really, I say keep working at it. It's really good! :thumbsup2

“One that looks terribly out of date not to mention.” someone else added.

“I doubt if it even flies.” Another person said.

It should be,

"Not to mention, one that looks terribly out-of-date", another person added

"I doubt that it even flies", added another

Gah whatever. Words says it was alright. I'll change it though.

i thought it was really good...
i even thought of an idea...
you could have whoever wins the bid has a son/daughter and they aren't too happy w/ the idea of a world-stopping machine and they spend the whole story trying to find some way to destroy it...
and of course there has to be drama and the son/daughter has a loyal friend that dies in the process...
now i just said those were ideas, you don't have to use them...
i thought it was really good...
keep working on it...

*Spoiler*

All the leaders who are trying to bid on the plane are about to get killed. I plan to have the president, vice president, and speaker of the house in that room. The hero is going to be an ex indiana jones/davy crocket type person turned senator.

It's basically your every day madman tries to take over the world story. Except this time the madman actually does it. :confused3

That's really good! You've got talent! Go with it! :thumbsup2

I'm actually thinking of writing a book, also. I don't know what it will be about, though. :scratchin

Here is my story...
warning: i have not checked it and it may have spelling and grammatical mistakes...
Chapter 1
The sun rose brightly in the forest of Armarro, the elf lord of the forest. Every morning and evening he would inspect the forest he had started for his beautiful daughter, Aicha. It had many different types of trees, several of which were not meant to be alive. For example, the Tresiana, a cross-breed of an oak and a Mapia was created by design of Aicha.
Aicha had a thoughtful heart and an intelligent mind. She would oftentimes care for the many plants in her forest. She also cared for the many animals there, too. She fed each and every one the correct meal. She did most of the caring, while Armarro would tell her what to care for. They would have a wonderful time walking in their forest together.
When Aicha wasn't caring for her forest, she was helping her mother, Arrowdell. Her mother did many writings and Aicha would help her organize them. Her mother also would take the family to meet many of her friends of nobility.
When Aicha wasn't with her father or her mother, she was with her great-uncle. She never called him "Great-uncle", she always referred to him as "uncle". So in this tale, I will refer to Aicha's great uncle primarily as just "Uncle"...
