So I have planned a breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe for my birthday OOOPS!!

I got this bright idea today that I would like to add another ADR to our trip. I really want my parents to experience Whispering Canyon Cafe...we went there once a couple of years ago and we had a ball! Anyway...the best day to go would be my birthday, because I didn't plan much for that morning because we will be having a late night out...just a relaxing day of swimming and shopping before hitting the Cirque and Pleasure Island that night. Umm...okay, then I saw on YouTube what they do to people on their birthdays there!!! I do not want to run around the restaurant and sing happy birthday to myself, on a wooden pony! I am going to have to start my birthday morning off having a couple drinks if you are going to get me to do that (maybe that wouldn't be so bad hehehe). I wouldn't have any problem keeping my birthday a secret...but my DH and my dad will absolutely be sure to tell on me! WHAT DO I DO AND HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS???!!

I'd suggest canceling the ADR then. Whispering Canyon is always loud and crazy, so I'd cancel and try a different restaurant.

For what it is worth, when we went in May I told them that we were celebrating my dd's friends' 16th birthday. She just sat and smiled nicely. In the end I was the one that had to ride the pony around the restaurant singing to her. So, it may get turned around on your husband if he tells it is your birthday.

Now I would LOVE to see my husband ride the horse around the restaurant. I am just a little bashful myself though! I love the atmosphere of the restaurant though, but as far as singing goes...I couldn't do it!
