SO I get a new elbow finally
This all started at school. I was 10 playing on the playground during recess. You know the three bars that are hooked together. A small one and middle one then a high bar? Well I did a double death drop off the highest bar. Kinda like a cherry drop. My elbow ended up right under my shoulder and I broke both of the bones in the arm. Ive had countless surgeries over the years. I think 14?? A couple of the surgeries because of staff infections plus months in the hospital. Well last November I had another surgery to help with arthritis in the elbow, it made my arm worst. Now I cant do anything with it. I tried doing the dishes twice last week, I ended up on the sofa crying. My DS15 has been great helping out. I did buy him a new dishwasher. We get it next week. He cant wait!
I guess Im writing this for a couple of reasons:
1. Im scared! If I get an infection, they will have to remove the replacement and fuse my bones together. Meaning I wouldnt be able to move my arm not all or rotate my wrist. Has many one had a elbow replacement? After surgery I will have a 5lb weight limit for life. Im only 33!
2. Please tell your kids to be careful for me!
PS. Im trying to talk my mom into a trip to WDW to celebrate my new elbow, still working on it.
