Our dates of visiting our happy place are being changed from October, 2010 to the beginning of November, 2010 (unsure of exact dates, but anytime between 11/3-11/17).

We've never visited WDW during this time....how is it? Is the 1st week in November better than the 2nd or vice versa?

Any input would be greatly helpful! Thanks!

I would plan toward the latter part of your date range ... Food & Wine Festival will have ended and Jersey Days will be over.

That's right! Jersey Days!! I completely forgot about that! I'm from NJ and the last thing I want to do is be in my happy place w/ the people I'm trying to get away from! Thanks for the reminder!

We went last November, The only day that was really bad was the day after Thanksgiving. The Monday following its a ghost town

Have fun!

We are going this year on Nov. 11, and the food and wine are over and so is Jersey Week. It is the first week for MVMCP, but the crowds aren't too bad. We went last year the same week, and the longest we waited was about 15-20 mins for Expedition Everest. Most crowd calendars give that week about a level 4 out of 10 for crowdedness (is that even a word? crowdedness?..:confused3:rotfl2:)

The second week of Nov. is considered in the top 5 weeks to go, for low crowds and wait times. #1 week is the first full week of December.

We are going November 16th. I am curious to see how much of a ghost town it is as I have only seen it during spring break when it's packed. We come back from our bounceback cruise on the 22nd. I wonder if MCO is going to be really busy?

Been the 2nd week in Nov. over the past couple of years and love this time of year. Not too crowded and the weather's usually great.

I'll let you know. Going from Nov9-18 and all previous trips were in April/May.
Looking forward to Christmas before the crowds and hopefully it will still be warm enough to swim.

November is wonderful! We like going the week of Thanksgiving, although it does get crowded on Thanksgiving day through that weekend. The weather is wonderful! Enjoy!!!

We are going the 2nd week of November, never been then, went new year's eve once and it was freezing, miserable trip :( I'm in northwest fl and the temps are dropping fast here, I am hoping it will warm up again before we leave.

After reading these posts, I am so excited to go!! We'll be there Nov. 7-14! :cool1:

We did a week in November for a quick 4 day get away. The weather was cool and rainy....I love hot and humid...so it depends on what your weather preference is. However...the wonderful part of this trip was seeing WDW dressed up for the Holidays. I've been visiting the world since '71 and to see it at Christmas time was quite a treat for me. If I had more DVC points, I truly think I'd do it again.

I've always gone in Nov and I love it though I can't compare it to any other time. Last trip was the 3rd week and nearly all the Christmas decorations were up and the MVMCP was going. It was cool, about 65 during the day and chilly at night. Great weather for us because DH and I are totally heat intolerant, we have lots of heat saving blubber on us to keep us warm :lmao:.

The time in early November sounds great to me...my daughter promised my granddaughter that we would all go together when she turned 4 well, by November she will be 4 so.....maybe with many prayers that may be a good time to go:)Keep the info coming.please and thank you.

Going Nov. 29 this year....can't wait to see Disney in its Christmas glory!!! I have never been at this time of year. Hoping for fair weather. :yay:

We are SO excited that our plans to visit WDW next year were changed to November (especially after reading your posts!)....we are most excited about getting to see WDW dressed up for Christmas and get to go to MVMCP! DH can never go away between Thanksgiving & Christmas, so he's quite excited that he'll get the chance to celebrate Christmas Disney-style next year.

Going 11/29 to 12/5 and staying at the Poly to celebrate our 38 anniversary. Waited a long time for this magical trip. Hope the crowds and the weather cooperate. Starting to pack my bags already!
